Huge thanks to yourefragile for sharing this growler. Served in a cervoise. The nose is fairly tart with a bit of wheat in the background, but mostly sourness and light stone fruits. Flavor is similar. It’s quite tart, and unfortunately doesn’t have much dry wheat character like a great Berliner. Instead, it’s more of an American Wild, though a good one at that.

On tap at St. Augustines on Rare Beer Tap Takeover. Pale golden, white head. The beer is very sour, vinegary, with marinated tomatoes notes. Very unusual, but refreshing. Not a my stuff, definitely :-)

A dream beer for sure a long want for a very long time. On draft at stein and vine, poured a yellow color straw like with aromas of tart lemon, wheat, vinegar and musk. Flavors are tart lemon and wheat overtaken by vinegar. This has been one of my whales I have been looking for a very long time disappointed as too how much vinegar flavors I get. I thought this was going to be the gold standard but is not. Decent overall but too much vinegar.

Pours clear golden orange with a one finger white head with decent lacing. Aroma is of sour fruits, Greek yogurt, some vinegar, salt, some light bready malts, some funk, and some grass. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma and is pretty tart. Has a medium-light body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a pretty dry, pretty sour, long finish. Overall, a excellent berliner weiss that is super refreshing.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with fizzy head. Aromas of mild hops, citrus, and some sour notes. Sour acidic start with some good hops, nice sour citrus finish.

@ zeitgeist 16-3-5: lätt syrlig med toner av citrus och blommor. En ok frisk och trevlig eftersmak.

On tap at Zeitgeist. A bit hazy yellow with a small white head. Tart with lemon, light bread, some vinegar and light grass. The body was light. An ok one.

Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy pale white wine color with no head. A bit acetic, with vinegar, lemon juice, white grape skins, sourdough, yogurt, and wheat. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a dry, acetic mouthfeel. A bit much for the style.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Hazy super pale yellow pour with thin fizzy white head. Aroma is sour, vinegar, ketchup, fruity notes. Taste is grassy, vinegar. Palate is light dry, solid acid burn.
