COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This malty, dry hopped lager beer was crafted with Old World ingredients in the Bear Republic style. Brewed using floor-malted Czech pilsner and wheat malt, along with hefty doses of Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Czech Saaz hops in the kettle and as dry hop additions. This is a lager above other lagers, an Über Lager.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber gold with a white head. Aroma is bready and mildly spicy. Med body. Flavor is bready wtih some spice. Might qualify as helles. Flavorful for a lager.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with a nice beige head and a bready aroma. There is a surprisingly full-bodied malt flavor with a dry bitter finish.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malty, with a hint of fruity sweetness, and just enough floral hops. A hint of straw in the finish. Very drinkable.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Sweet vanilla malt and citrus hops on the aroma and taste with a clean sweet bread finish. Slightly sticky medium bodied palate.
