COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for a fearsome alien species known to prey on Oompa Loompas, this sour and funky amber ale was refermented in French oak barrels containing local prickly pears. Malty and funky with a slight tart edge and prickly pear sweetness.

Deep amber pour. The aroma is loaded with soft tart fruitiness. A bit of apple and some vineous red wine sort of flavour. A touch of light oak and some berry sort of flavour. Possibly a touch of acetone, but it’s subtle and kind I adds a fruity note. Interesting brew with a lingering sort of mintiness. More bitterness than is typical for soured stuff but it kind of works.
