DeadGuyFrank (316), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Mar 30, 2008 Very light bodied with some slight bitterness....very golden in a pint glass. Nice easy drinking beer to have a six pack of in the house.
tgncc (208), Bellmore, New York, USA Jul 5, 2008 Strong malty aroma. Yellow color with tinge of orange, typical to the style. Strong malty flavor, balanced with hops. Not particularly sweet or bitter. Slight hop burn on the palate. Not very interesting, but drinkable. nearbeer (1101), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 3, 2008 650 ml. Clear orange-copper with a huge head that lasts. Crisp citrus, peach-apple blend, earthy tea leaf, honey and slight gunmetal in the aroma. Flavor is an excellent blend of the same, plus some light resin. Light-medium body is smooth and crisp. Tastes like a great ESB. phobos1031 (52), Paradise, Nevada, USA Jun 26, 2008 22 oz. bottle. chilled in my fridge. foamiest, frothiest head of any beer i ever poured. hoppy apricot aroma, slight spice. it took forever for the head to subside. light balance smooth fruity taste with a ginger finish. good on the porch with a sunset. Jabswitch (177), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 21, 2008 Golden hue. Filmy head. Somewhat faint aroma. Not enough hops for me. Fairly weak tasting for a pale. Not the same quality as Hop Rod Rye or Racer 5. scrizzz (455), kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 21, 2008 tall powerful seafoam bright white head, once it subsided a bit there was a brilliant fresh apricot aroma. one of the cleanest beers I’ve tasted. more apricot that becomes creamy soft yet not weak or thin.
