The more I get to try this brewery's product, the more I like it. Excellent, thick, rich malt and fabulous hops. Just can't ask for much more.

22oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Burlington, MA. Pours a bright golden amber with a tight cream head and some light carbonation; the aroma has touches of honey and resin over some sweet malts; it’s syrupy in the mouth with gentle, but assertive, hops that give a much more civilised taste experience than a modern IPA; the finish is warming with a hint of cinnamon. An excellent pale ale, and a good start to my US trip.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 LeftCoastRider (15) - , Washington, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Poured from 22 oz. bottle - dirty looking head. Really surprised at the high rating here. This is a rather insipid ale - I can’t even taste the Cascade hops, one of my favorites, and the amount of hops is so little that it lacks bite. The malts are mild. I am surprised at the lack of flavor, as I really enjoyed Bear Republic’s Racer 5 IPA. Large amount of sediment in bottle.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 15/20 badhack (75) - San Jose, California, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Golden, slightly orange. Some foam and good amount of CO2. This is about as good as a pale ale gets I think. Solid stiff backbone of tasty malt on the tongue and a delicious mix of hops going down. Not too bitter, not too sweet. Crisp and refreshing.

Cask pours hazy amber, thin head with good retention. Big citrus nose. Gentle pale malt gives way to an assualt of grapefruit, orange. Smooth and very enjoying.

Pretty big on aroma for a pale ale. Lots of hop character there for sure. Really drinkable beer, age had started to get to it though, hop flavour seemed a little flat, would love to try a fresh example.

This is a great session PA. Nice subtle hop flavors that are very smooth going down. Super easy drinking and artfully done. Cheers!

Surprisingly nice hop flavor, but not enough of it, or anything really. Very thin with a bit of bitterness. all okay, but nothing worth noting. The brewery’s obligatory boring beer...and in that category it isn’t too bad.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Westmeister (588) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 22, 2012
22 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with nice white head and great lacing. Smell is fresh tangerine and grapefruit citrus. Taste is medium light bitterness with And more fresh citrus but a bit subdued. This makes it a great session candidate. Very nice pale ale.

dark copper with a huge white head. This reduces fairly quickly to leave a thin foam layer with a lot of lacing. Smells of hops primarily, with malt also coming through. Has a bit of a grassy character, as well as some spices. Tastes of hops up front, but nicely balanced by malt and some spices. Finishes bitter and hoppy.

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy honey color. Aroma of citrus, resin, spruce, caramel, raisin. Flavor is spruce, sweetarts, caramel, grass. Has a higher amount of malt coming forward than most APAs. A nice beer. Better than average.
