Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, Borough, London .
Amber, malty ale, not in the best condition (something was wrong at the Porter yesterday, the cellman must have been on holiday). A very plain beer indeed. Only just in my opinion.

Bottled (from Utobeer, London). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, some floral and fruity notes as well as mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is caramel, fruits, floral and wooden notes.

Pretty average standard bitter with quite a fruity taste to it. quite pleasant to drink

Bottle from Booth’s, Ilkley, West Yorks. Pleasant-drinking, fat-bodied bronze bitter with a fullness of character and a shortbread and faint Turkish Delight quality that reminds me of a) most (non-BrewDog) bottled Scottish beers of 4-5%, b) a crappy, powdery US IPA and C).... peach flavoured Smarties? The peachiness tires quickly I can’t tell tell you what a relief it is after the bottle of Tirril Academy Ale I’ve just poured down the sink.

Cask, The Oxford, Manchester. Bland, thin, mostly made up of a sweet malty flavour.

Amber coloured body with a slight haze. Malt-fruity scents. The taste profile is choco-caramel accented followed by a rounded bitter ending. Cask, half pint served at a fine drinking temperature at Market Porter in London 3 Oct 10.

Cask på Market Porter, Borough 3 Okt 10. Aprikosfarget. Aroma med innslag av malt, nøtter & frukt. 0 kullsyre. Smaken søt fruktig med en syrlig avslutning.

Cask. A hazy amber beer with a dense off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and nuts. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of nuts as well as medium notes of citrus, leading to a dry nutty finish. The mouthfeel is quite sparkling for a cask ale.

Bottle that dad picked up from Congleton brewery tap (cheers dad), consumed Dinmore, Herefordshire 27-12-09 Pours warm gold with white head. The nose is a little soapy hops. There is some citrus in the mouth, its pleasantly bitter and another step up from the Barnsley beers that we’ve just had. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Clear medium yellow amber color with a average to large, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, fruity, light nutty, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, apple, licorice - anis notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090122]

Golden amber with an off white head. A predominantly malt aroma with some toffee/caramel sweetness and slight fruit notes. Taste is much the same, quite malty with caramel, cream and a slight hop bite in the end.
