Cask Conditioned at The Horse & Groom, Caulcott. Orange amber beer with foamed head. Malty based beer with a sweet caramel flavour laced with a roughish ginger. The ginger, though sharp is at a low enough level to allow some other flavours through, hence a lasting sweetness in the finish. I've never been a great fan of Ginger in beer though.

A Mes rate:
Gravicask at GBBF. Blonde coloured. Ginger and hoppy aroma. Standard blonde flavour with a slight hint of ginger. Not a fan of ginger in beer and this is no exception.

Cask (handpump) at the Forum (JDW), Lincoln, April 2008. Pale gold colour. Nice condition. Quite faint ginger in the aroma but much stronger ginger notes in the flavour. Fairly subtle - more of a golden ale with ginger accents than a full on ginger bomb. Clean, fresh and fairly tasty.
