Cask @ Northwich Beer fest 2007. Golden ale with a hint of ginger at the end, not too over powering, lovely winter warmer!

Cask conditioned - handpump - Highcross, Leicester A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. A very gingery ginger beer. Very spicy ginger notes and lots of fiery heat in both the aroma and taste. A prickly mouthfeel from the ginger. Very full on. As a ginger beer lover I found this a treat but it’s in your face for sure.

Cask in the counting house. Aroma gives no ginger(?) fresh hoppy, citrus and lemon, small sweetness off the pale malts. Taste is similar, very tasty stuff balanced and citrusy.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Cloudy straw coloured with a thin white head; a fresh ginger aroma; refreshing in the mouth with ginger and citrus; pleasantly bitter finish with more warming ginger. Great if you are in to ginger, and much better than the Shakemantle Ginger Ale that also features in the JDW Festival.

Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern, London. Gold with a slight haze, very thin white head. Stem ginger aroma. Man that’s a ginger beer. A bit soapy maybe, good ginger though.
