Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Very dark brown pour with a tan head that diminished to leave a lingering rim. Aroma had a decent amount of roast, with notes of hazelnut, dark chocolate, dark fruits and trace car tyre.
Slid down nice n’smooth. Further chocolate, fruits and roasted malt in evidence flavour wise. Dry bitter finish. A very drinkable and tasty stout. Nice one.

Cask conditioned at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 02-03-09 Pours dark brown with a slight reddy glint. Really rather tasty beer, ok its a touch thin at times for the abv but there is some chocolate and a nice dryness there which I rather liked. A6 A4 F7 P3 OV14 3.4

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Almost black with a very thin beige head. Fruity and astringent aroma with some slight roasty coffee. More coffee and roasted malt in the flavour with plenty of fruit and peaty notes. A straight forward stout that is nothing too special.
