A hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. In aroma, a lightly fruity malt with light spices and faint sulfur. In mouth, a crisp fruity malt with mineral character, light herbal spices, thyme, ok.

Draft - Floral, grapefruit and herbal notes. Cloudy gold with a frothy white head. Bitter grapefruit rind and herbal notes. Not bad, but herbal bitterness is a bit much.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 2013-10-05. Bright hazy orange body nice white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity, lightly green. The flavour has much more piney and herbal ’green’ character than I remember from previous glasses. Pleasantly fruity and bitter. Average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. The stronger herbal character makes it more assertive and more interesting, but also means I need to be more in the mood for it. 7/4/7/3/14-15 Bottle at Beaus Oktoberfest, Vankleek Hill

2013-06-20. Hazy yellow orange body with a nice white head. I think... They just turned the lights out on us. Aroma is pleasant, mild fruity berry like character, like lingonberries or similar but that could be purely in my head based on the name. Undertones of wheat and grass. Flavour is pleasant but I find it very similar to some other Beaus beers - Something about the way the malt and yeast character comes together. Pleasant modest malt, lightly bready pale malt, moderate bitterness throughout. Average bodied palate, with a modest carbonation that suits it and lends itself to drinkability. Decent, enjoyable. 7/3/7/3/15 OCB Week, at Beau’s Beer Around The World Event

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Hazy pale gold, lively white head. Aroma is more hoppy than anything (I think I was expecting more of a wit-bier aroma for some reason), and to be honest I have no idea how yarrow or sweet gale should smell or taste. Biscuity pale malts, unripened mango, nettles/grass. Finish is bitter and dry. I would never guess this is anything other than a well made American pale ale, but I mean that as a compliment.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Bottle from LCBO. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is awesome - lots of bright spicy/herbal aroma. Sort of gruit-like but with a flinty dryness in addition to a bit of soft fruitiness. There is a little bit of spice and a touch of lean pale malt. It has an almost bretty character even though I don’t think they use any. Earthy bitterness but a lingering freshness. Really damn tasty. Tap at Brydens. Very pale golden pour with a little bit of soft yeast suspension. Nice light fruit and a soft earthiness. Moderate bitterness with a touch of light spice on the finish. Pretty nice, summery beer. Lingering wheatiness flavour. 7 3 7 3 14

tap @ beau’s oktoberfest, vankleek hill. unclear light yellow pour with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. lemongrass, pepper, flowers, astringent bitter herbs, berries, grass, crisp pale maltiness. moderate carbonation, light body, dry grassy-herbal-spicy finish - good palate. nicely crafted - the spices/herbs/flowers blend in very well to this crisp and quenching pale ale.

Pretty decent from Beau’s new collaboration brewing series. Pours cloudy light orange with good head and lacing. Some citrus head with light malt. Bitter finish, soft carbonation. Nice balance. Some pine as well. Didn’t realize all these random ingredients were thrown in, but it’s Beau’s so I shouldn’t be surprised. Nonetheless it works. On tap at Rhino winter fest.
