UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Bottle from LCBO. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is awesome - lots of bright spicy/herbal aroma. Sort of gruit-like but with a flinty dryness in addition to a bit of soft fruitiness. There is a little bit of spice and a touch of lean pale malt. It has an almost bretty character even though I don’t think they use any. Earthy bitterness but a lingering freshness. Really damn tasty. Tap at Brydens. Very pale golden pour with a little bit of soft yeast suspension. Nice light fruit and a soft earthiness. Moderate bitterness with a touch of light spice on the finish. Pretty nice, summery beer. Lingering wheatiness flavour. 7 3 7 3 14

Bouteille 600ml. Couleur orange brûlé trouble, mousse beige pâle aérienne et persistante. Arôme de papaye, pamplemousse, houblon fruité, malt, diacétyle? Goût de papaye, malt, amertume moyenne-élevée, houblon résineux. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen.

Two fingers fluffy persistent white head. Hazy gold colour. Herbaceous, citrus, light cran and almost tea like aroma. Matching flavours, a little grassy, nice balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Medium body, med carb, slight astringency.

On tap, poured into a nonic pint. Grassy, floral, and herbal aromas are immediately noticeable with an earthy baseline; very outdoorsy. Later, some light toffee and citrus pokes through. There’s a slight haze to the amber orange brew, with a white, doughy soap head that keeps moderate amount by the end and leaves some mild lace on the glass. The taste is a medium, grassy bitter with a compliment of medium sweet. The texture is oily with a soft fizz carbonation. The medium body has a profile of toffee, very subtle tart berry and citrus with a light floral spice. The finish is herbaceous and grassy with a bit of an earthy spice that leads to caramel. The aftertaste clean and herbal.

A: Fleurs, fruits, gazon.

An amazing balance of surprising ingredients. From yarrow to sweet gale to flowers tastes, this make the beer an incredible mix. Very distinct from the others.
