COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Oats No. 20 Mango Saison • 4.4% alc/vol A collaborative beer by Beau’s and Trou Du Diable, FOUS ALLIÉS is based on a classic, refreshing and snappy saison style, with an intriguing fruit twist. FOUS ALLIÉS underwent a secondary fermentation with the addition of organic mango juice, then even more mango juice was added to more fully capture the true fruit essence. Expect tropical fruit aroma with peppery notes; the flavour is also fruity and faintly tart, with a pleasant, dry finish. Lively carbonation and hints of white pepper accentuate the quaffable character. Delicious mango flavour adds complexity, slight earthiness, and playfulness to the to the presentation.

From bottle @ Festibière de Québec. Hazy yellow with a medium fully lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is mainly of mango, peppery notes with light yeast and light malt. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet (fruity sweetness I think) with mango, malt and light spices. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry finish. Good fruity beer. Drinkable and refreshing. With a little more Saison/Farmhouse character, it would be a great beer.

Tap at Only Cafe. Nice and dry with light funky-hoppy snap and herbal overtones, sweetness from malt and fruit, some phenolics, A bit more going on than the tame Patio Saison they are hoping to sell truckloads of to, I presume.

Bouteille 600 mL. Blonde brouillee a la mousse fine. Nez leger de mangue et de poivre. En bouche, houblon a peine perceptible avec une faible trame de mangue et un petit "kick" de poivre en milieu de bouche. Longueur moyenne. Savoureuse pour le faible pourcentange d’alcool... Tres bien!
