Wild Oats No. 20 Mango Saison • 6.1% alc/vol A collaborative beer by Beau’s and Trou Du Diable, FOUS ALLIÉS is based on a classic, refreshing and snappy saison style, with an intriguing fruit twist. FOUS ALLIÉS underwent a secondary fermentation with the addition of organic mango juice, then even more mango juice was added to more fully capture the true fruit essence. Expect tropical fruit aroma with peppery notes; the flavour is also fruity and faintly tart, with a pleasant, dry finish. Lively carbonation and hints of white pepper accentuate the quaffable character. Delicious mango flavour adds complexity, slight earthiness, and playfulness to the to the presentation.

Sweet fruity nose with a hint of sourness. This is a well made and refreshing saison. The Sweet mango leads the taste profile, supported by a dry yeast element, some pepper and very understated bready malt. The hint of sourness in the nose doesn’t survive into the taste. Finishes dry and clean. A very nice taste accomplishment at 4.8% abv

Gusher does not leave a lot of beer in the bottle! Dirty yellow. Mango and funk pair very well. Maybe it needs to be drunk very fresh or on tap. Sugar notes play well on the tongue. Mango sweetness and Saison spice work well. Need to get the full bottle or pint experience.

Trou du Diable bottling @5.5%ABV. Very cloudy dark golden pour with a mountainous head that’s almost white. Super funkified on the nose with lots of mango and a nice spicy edge. There’s also something odd in there, a note of something...green? Tons of mango juice on the palate with a real sweet note across the mid-palate. It lacks some of the complexity the nose had but there are nice hints of funk and spice running through. Finishes a little sweeter than I might like but overall I’m a pretty big fan.

75 cl bottle. Yellow. Dry - the mango is not overpowering (which is good - I’m no fan of too-much-mango). Spicy taste, peppery. Fizzy. Good acidity. Would drink it again.

750ml bottle. Hazy golden yellow with a foamy white head, lots of sediments. Aroma is cereals, mango, citrus and spices (nutmeg?). Taste is grainy, fruity and spicy. Slight acidity. Light body, moderate carbonation, thin texture. Fruity and refreshing. Nice.

Belle mousse vivante sur un corps orangé troublé. Le corps est duveteux, chargé de mangues et de blé, le côté acidulé est discret, la finale un brin surette. Buvabilité expéditive.

Potent guava aroma that is refreshing and slightly sugary like cotton candy. Hazy dark yellow under a lasting white flannel blanket. Sweet cotton candy and guava flavour that has a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Light body medium to high carbonation, faintly tangy finish.
