3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught at Burger Bar. Cloudy pale yellow-gold with no head. Papery sickly sweet aroma of overripe tropicsl fruit with yeast and a hint of grass. The taste is over-sweet thick saison. The body is thick, the carbonation is weak, the finish is quick. Not my thing, but my wife quite liked it.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A hazed blonde saison with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant mix of mango pulp and spices, coriander, orange peels, nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with ginger extract, curacao, mango, a bit too sweet. On tap at Arrow and Loon, May 30 2012.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not getting much from this one. Nose is faint some yeast, some pepper and very light hint of fruit. Mouth has initial pepper hit with some mango in the middle and a peppery finish. Pours cloudy straw no head after a few minutes and almost no lacing. Was hoping for more from an interesting collaboration..

Pint @ Atomic Rooster
Cloudy orange-amber, no head. Nice, clean, lightly fruity, some biscuit malt, a hint of pepper. Only a slightly hint of Beau’s roughness. Pleasant mango fruitiness with a definite peppery note and nice bitterness, still clean, quite tasty. Dry and refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at WVRST, pours a very nice golden straw like colour with a pretty big white head. To be honest I don’t get too much mango on the nose, it’s there but subtle. Yeast is present which gives it a mild earthy aroma. Pretty crisp and refreshing on the palate. Enjoyable.

On tap. Very hazy straw colour, thin white head, high delicate carbonation. Aroma is straw, yeast, topical citrus. Light mouthfeel. Very dry and bitter finish. Hints of the mango. Not as much flavour or complexity as I expected.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2012-06-02. Dark hazy pastel yellow, small white head. 3+ Mild aroma, fruity, mango fruit that I might not have identified if not told that that is what it was since I do not often eat them, light sweet wheat like character, mild yeast accents. 7+ Flavour is quite sweet overall, fairly fruity, light yeast character. Smooth average plus bodied palate. 3+ Decent, enjoyable, I could happily drink a few pints in an evening but I am not sure that I would return to it often. On tap at Wvrst, Toronto

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Bar Volo. Dirty blond appearance, virtually no head. A little funky peppery spicy nose. Smooth mouthfeel, well carbonated. A sipper, and tasty, with white pepper,a little salt, cardomon, a bit of ginger and other nondescript spices. Some chocolate malts. A tad of smoke and of booziness in the finish. Good drinkability

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at brewpub. Hazy light ochre yellow, lively carbo. Aroma of tropical pubch and mango nectar, which yields to a firm malt structure and solid but subtle hopping. Well construxted, so the fruit never overpowers the base beer. A larger gulp yields a fruitier sip, which is still sophisticated. Finishes surprisingly dry.
