COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Oats No. 20 Mango Saison • 4.4% alc/vol A collaborative beer by Beau’s and Trou Du Diable, FOUS ALLIÉS is based on a classic, refreshing and snappy saison style, with an intriguing fruit twist. FOUS ALLIÉS underwent a secondary fermentation with the addition of organic mango juice, then even more mango juice was added to more fully capture the true fruit essence. Expect tropical fruit aroma with peppery notes; the flavour is also fruity and faintly tart, with a pleasant, dry finish. Lively carbonation and hints of white pepper accentuate the quaffable character. Delicious mango flavour adds complexity, slight earthiness, and playfulness to the to the presentation.

75 cl bottle. Yellow. Dry - the mango is not overpowering (which is good - I’m no fan of too-much-mango). Spicy taste, peppery. Fizzy. Good acidity. Would drink it again.

Trou du Diable bottling @5.5%ABV. Very cloudy dark golden pour with a mountainous head that’s almost white. Super funkified on the nose with lots of mango and a nice spicy edge. There’s also something odd in there, a note of something...green? Tons of mango juice on the palate with a real sweet note across the mid-palate. It lacks some of the complexity the nose had but there are nice hints of funk and spice running through. Finishes a little sweeter than I might like but overall I’m a pretty big fan.

Bottle at Trou du Diable. Clear pale yellow pour with tons of frothy white foam. Mangos reasonably present in the aroma, light citrusy wheaty notes as well. Taste is light and fruity, fresh grainy flavors, bread dough, malt. Palate is very light and refreshing, with smooth carbonation and a dry finish. Beautiful little beer that I wish was more available.

Belle mousse vivante sur un corps orangé troublé. Le corps est duveteux, chargé de mangues et de blé, le côté acidulé est discret, la finale un brin surette. Buvabilité expéditive.

Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a bubbly white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is mango, pepper, yeast and some spicy earthiness. Taste is peppery mango with some yeast and bitterness on the finish.

Draft at brewpub. Hazy light ochre yellow, lively carbo. Aroma of tropical pubch and mango nectar, which yields to a firm malt structure and solid but subtle hopping. Well construxted, so the fruit never overpowers the base beer. A larger gulp yields a fruitier sip, which is still sophisticated. Finishes surprisingly dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
