Wild Oats Series #27. An unfiltered beer brewed with sea salt, coriander and a hint of subtle acidity post fermentation. Aromas of citrus, and slight tartness to taste leads into a curiously salty mouth-feel.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI via Windsor. Pale yellow, slight haze. Skunky citrus aroma. Medium body, refreshing citrus flavour with honey and a strong lime finish.

600 ml bought at the brewery on December 17, 2015. Hasy gold, small head. Pepper and salt aroma, fairly malty. The taste is about the same, with some extra sweetness and a bit of lemon, not much aftertaste. The dynamite was more of a whimper!

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma is wheat, herbal, cereal. Taste is similar, with a salty note. Crisp and refreshing. I like.

My Bottom Line:
This balanced Gose is the theater for precise coriander, delicate salt and softspoken cereals in an effervescent mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty gold orange.
-This is quite quenching.
-The dosage of every component is quite nice.
-This was delicious with a black olive pizza.

Hazy gold, taste is wheaty, not too sour, light bodied, slight saltiness. I am not finding it intense enough for my preference, but it’s not bad, fairly light.

Correct. (Lot 4551 Emb. 27 sept 15) (1663-211115)

600 ml bottle from the Octoberfest pack.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow colour with not quite a finger of white head. Average retention and a bit of lacing.

Aroma: Salt and brine.

Flavours: Lemon, biscuit, salt.

Mouthfeel: Thiner with average carbonation.

Overall: This was quite a nice beer and similar to Beau’s Opa’s Gose. The salt and sour flavours come on strong and work well together.
