COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Oats Series #27. An unfiltered beer brewed with sea salt, coriander and a hint of subtle acidity post fermentation. Aromas of citrus, and slight tartness to taste leads into a curiously salty mouth-feel.

Can’t say this works for me. Pours clear pale with an initial head that foams like alka seltzer. No lacing. Aromas are cereal, apple, some light citrus and a bit of a salty finish. Tastes are very light sweet and light salt. Body is very light with medium carbonation. Interesting style of beer, just one I’d probably not seek out very far to try again. Good effort, though, Beau’s!

Bottle [600ml]. Pours a hazy pale gold with an average size lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of berries, salt, wheat, citrus fruit, grain and herbs. Clean and somewhat refreshing flavour follows the aroma, with berries, grain and wheat first followed by salt, lightly tart citrus and herbs. Light bitter finish. Gets saltier the more you drink it. Average bodied. An interesting and unique beer.

November 5, 2012 - on draught at Volo. Hazy pale gold, not much fizzy head (3-). Aroma is dull and papery - maybe some straw and honey if I am generous. Taste is quite solid - grassy with lemon tartness, enough vaguely sweet malt to balance it out, very refreshing, a bit herbal. Tingly low-level acidity and carbonation, light of body, finishes quick leaves a light dry acidic aftertaste - grew on me a lot, although it really doesn’t smell all that cool.

[4851-20121008] Tap. Burnt popcorn drizzled in orange lemon juice aroma. Hazy, light orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Flavour is a deadringer for Jelly Belly buttered popcorn candies. Medium body. Really interesting and odd at the same time. (7/3+/7/3/14) 3.4

Tap at Volo: Aroma: fruity with gooseberries feel , rounder ester wrap. Light hint of wet cloth at side. 7-
Apperance: cloudy wit haze with lighter rocky top. 3-
Taste/Palate etc. Grainy , light bodied , slightly salty. Drinkable approach , different and interesting set up. Salty finish , tad smoky with green hints. Is this how true Gose taste I wonder. Either way I liked it.

Bottle, 2012 Oktoberfest mix pack, thanks Kristi! Hazy yellow, citrusy aroma. Taste is solid - light body, citrus, yet I am certain I can taste a dry saltiness in there. A tad tart. Really dry salty finish - like minutes after your sip you can taste sea salt. Pretty darn interesting - I liked it!

Private buying group bottle. One of the better ones from the brewery. A little more balanced than the style I have had before, but nicely refreshing. Very yellow with some lace. Sea salty aroma. Lemony taste. Lemon verbena herbal. Decent drinkability,

600 ml bottle. Pours a slightly veiled straw with a nice white head. Smell is salt water, wheat, coriander and lemon. Taste is salt, coriander, spice, lemon, tea. Finish is herbal hops, a flotal touch. Very sharp, refreshing bitterness. Salty taste is lingering. A watery mouthfeel, tolerable, yet somewhat strong carbonation. It somewhat lacked in taste, to my liking, but it seemed to have enormous potential. I should try more goses.

On tap at Bar Hop in Toronto. Unexpectedly silky mouthfeel. Tart. Very little aroma, but pleasant.

Bottle, pours a bit of a cloudy yellow, aroma is grainy, the flavour is nice, the salt comes through nicely and it is pretty nice for the style, overall, this one was pretty yummy
