COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Oats Series #27. An unfiltered beer brewed with sea salt, coriander and a hint of subtle acidity post fermentation. Aromas of citrus, and slight tartness to taste leads into a curiously salty mouth-feel.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2013 Pretty interesting beer. Just gives me a notion of what a gose tastes like, though donít have much point of comparison in that category. Aroma of of sour wheat, sour barley and yeast. Pours cloudy blond with decent lacing. Leaves sour with a bit of spice, maybe coriander. A little haylike bitterness reminiscent of some saisons. Tap at volos.

Pale straw pour. Slight haze. Very bright aroma of coriander and pale wheat malt. A faint kiss of lacto but even that is subtle. Clean smelling with a lot of citrus. Light palate with a bit of tartness. Fresh and fruity. Lightly tart on the finish. Nice.

On tap at Atomic Rooster. Clear golden yellow with an off white head. Once it warms up a bit there is a nice aroma of yeast, coriander, lemon zest, grains, faint malt, and definitely some hints of sea salt although it was which made this a little odd but still enjoyable. Moderate carbonation and body, slightly sweet, more citrus, grain and spice with an interesting finish (assuming this was the salt again) that was different then a typical dry ending but still good.

New arrival at Pub Italia in the Abbey section. Pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head that has good retention and great lacing. Big cereal nose with hints of coriander. Medium-light bodied. Fruity malt taste with notes of honey and spices. Mango is found in the aftertaste with some grain lingering. Quite a good light beer that is refreshing and still tasty with all of those nice organic ingredients.

2012-10-08. Hazy golden body, nice beige head. 3+ Pleasant aroma has a tangy fruity quality that is sort of lemon meets gooseberry in nature. 7+ Flavour is pleasant, lightly bitter, sort of fruity, almost gooseberry like? Tangy quality to it that is presumably the salt/gose character but I am not sure I how I would describe it if I was tasting this blind. Mild pale malt comes out as it warms up. 7+ Average plus palate is pleasantly effervescent. As it warms up the aroma seemed to change significantly, gaining a strange burnt buttered popcorn like quality to it that was significantly less pleasing than it started out! Pretty nice overall, very quaffable. On tap at Brewmarket, Brick Works, Toronto

Pours a golden cloudy colour with decent head but retention wasnít the best. A decent lace left after time. Smell is yeasty with spicy notes of coriander, tastes a bit yeasty with Strong lemon(mixture of the salt and coriander I assume) for a name "... Boom goes the dynamite" I expected a bit more "boom"

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a big white frothy head. Leaves a small amount of lace. Smells of yeast, salt and citrus. Taste is yeast up from with a combination of coriander ad salt which creates a unique lemon taste. Overall itís interesting but not my cup of tea.

On tap at the Brewery Market. Pours a lightly hazy golden yellow with modest-sized white head. Aroma is sweet fruit, light yeast and spice. Flavour is spicy with banana, apple and light yeastiness. Decent body - not as light as Iíd have anticipated. Fairly lively carbonation. Refreshing but with some character.

Pours a golden yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is grassy grains and small saltiness. Taste is grass, straw, small citrus and a small bite of salt. The salt was off putting for me.
