COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the Beaver River (rivière Castor), which connects Ottawa to many communities to the East, this IPA is designed to appeal to Hop Heads. Taking the malt and yeast profile of a traditional British style India Pale Ale and adding an American-style citrusy punch, our Beaver River is both assertive and drinkable. Beaver River is brewed with local spring water and the ingredients are 100% certified organic.

Canada: Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is weak and dominated mostly by malt. Taste is forgetable. The so-called citrus hops infusion barely does anything for it. The English malt profile is not particularly exciting either. The body is what it is. I was bored by this beer and drank it as quickly as possible to move onto my next beer. This beer is kind of mEh. Oh yeah and it’s organice, but I don’t really think I care.

Pours a nice amber with a fairly good head. I don't get a lot in the way of aroma, bread, malt and some mild caramel. Taste is mildly bitter, with a soft maltiness. Overall, just okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

600mL bottle from the Lykbow. Pours a nice golden copper with a medium rocky head. Aroma is decent, bursting with hoppy citrus characters that play off the malts really well. Flavour has a lot of bittering hops upfront, making way for delicious bready-biscuit caramalts, followed by citrusy flavour hops. Finishes clean with lingering bitterness and malty sweetness. Body is medium, with somewhat tamed carbonation. Vaguely reminiscent of Sgt. Major’s IPA. Vaguely. This is a very solid beer, I would drink this regularly if it were more than just a seasonal. Another good ones from Beau’s.

from bottle. dark copper colour with carbonated head that as expected fizzes and pops before vanishing. Big nose of oranges, lemons and peaches. Thick and chewy hoppy bitterness but flavour dissipates a bit too prematurely, perhaps it’s lingers longer after a few mouthfuls. Hops are bold and brash but lack complexity. feels like it’s all about that big hop bomb but there’s still room for some subtlty. Has potential to be a stalwart why only a seasonal?

A light copper colour with a foamy head. Not much of an aroma. The carbonation is a good compliment to the caramel malt flavours. Could use some more hops, to punch up the flavour, but not too shabby.

pint as some restaurant in Ottawa. orange to copper in colour, with a decent off white head. not a very aromatic beer, the hops still stand out on top of some malts. taste is caramel and malts with a nice hops finish. nicely carbonated with a medium body. not a bad IPA.

Light orange pour with a white head. Aroma is citrusy and a bit sharp. Some biscuit and malt notes. Fairly standard IPA, but a nice offering fro ma good brewery.

bottle... medium peach with a light orange hue, murky, light tan head, rises about a finger, good retention... smells terrible, malt with vomit and alcohol... the taste is somehow worse, totally flat, vomit pine needles... pass on this organic garbage

600ml Bottle (at 5.6%ABV per the bottle): Got in trade from Sammy; THANKS Sammy! Aroma of malt, hops, light diacetyl, Earth, slight caramel, and some pine. Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, rocky, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny and small particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, light caramel, hops, Earth, light diacetyl, and some leaves. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, hop, Earth, caramel finish is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter.
