4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
600mL bottle from the LCBO. Pours a copper colour with nice foamy white head that sadly dissipates fairly quickly. Smell is cirtusy and hoppy to the max, it smells almost entirely of grapefruit and lemon, though there is a small roasted cereal hint. Palate is really nice, some soft carbonation that cleanses the palate rather than attacking it, and it has a heavier feel, but still lightly refreshing. Taste is pretty nice, not a lot of hops on the first taste, but it gradually builds in your mouth and then lingers for a bit with a slightly bitter aftertaste. A nice beer, quite refreshing, and a decent IPA. Well done Beaus.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
In a 600 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a lovely copper color with a nice but short lived head. The IPA flavors of citrus and bitterness but not to excess. An easy drinking if safe drink. Certainly easy to enjoy.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
600 mL bottle. Aromas of pine and citrus, a little yeasty as well,. Pours a really appealing copper color with nice carbonation and a foamy white head. Nicely balanced bitterness and sugars, feeling a little more accessible and easy drinking than other bigger IPAs. Not over hopped, so itís easy on the palate, finishing rather smooth. Much more pleased with this than the makerís Lug Tread Ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty good. These IPAs are a good conduit to the brewmasterís palate and apparently his tongue is solid. Gave a sip to my sister and she got immediate beer face so Iím surprised itís only 52 IBUs. Nice combination of citrusy and earthy hops. I could drink this all day. Give these guys a decade and theyíll be huge.

600mL bottle from LCBO. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Aroma of tropical fruits and a little pepper. Slight sweetness up front, followed by spicy piney hops and cherries, and finally a very bitter finish with hints of alcohol.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice copper to amber colour. Lovely colour, actually. Good solid head that lasts a few minutes then disappears. Lacing is present, but of average quality. This beer is a bit thin in body, and has a pretty thin mouthfeel, but has a clean finish with a great hoppiness. The hop character is slightly bitter but is at the forefront.
Because the malt is a bit thin, it makes the hop character come to the forefront. Personally, Iíd like to see a bit more malt character.
The bear is perfectly bright, but Beauís claims that it is un-filtered. I donít see how you can make a beer this clear without mechanical filtration.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light dry floral hops with semi-sweet caramel malt notes. Taste is a mix between some light floral and somewhat dry hops notes with a semi-sweet caramel malt backbone. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation. Lacking some hops punch and body is a bit too thin for the style IMO but still enjoyable nonetheless.

[on tap at Arrow and Loon, Ottawa]
Sweet toffee aroma with a little citrus, but a bit weak. Clear orange-bronze under a lacy, white patch. Flavour is a good balance of bitter and sweet, faintly toffee malt. A bit more bitterness comes in late. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.
