3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty good. These IPAs are a good conduit to the brewmaster’s palate and apparently his tongue is solid. Gave a sip to my sister and she got immediate beer face so I’m surprised it’s only 52 IBUs. Nice combination of citrusy and earthy hops. I could drink this all day. Give these guys a decade and they’ll be huge.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
600 ml bottle to pint (shared with the Mrs.; thanks mikem409). Looks solid; a transparent amberish orange with AMPLE foamy off-white head. Smells solid too; bitter hops and caramel malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid English IPA.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear amber with a pillowy beige head that leaves a slight lace. Aroma is more caramel than hoppy. Taste is light and sweet with little evidence of hop bitterness. Creamy body with lively carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A middling IPA. The hops are stale and grassy with a dirty mouthfeel and an overly sweet flavor of caramel at the beginning. Picked up in Toronto in 2013.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Grassy and citrus hops. Clear copper with a foamy white head. Grassy hope, a nice balanced malt and bitter finish. A bit of spice and the malts really shine in the middle. A nice IPA.

Aroma of cinnamon, grapefruit and hops; a tad skunky. Nice amber colour with a nice head but not great lacing. Taste is grapefruity and sweet with a long late bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Russet pour with a picket white fence frothy cap that holds its ground. Doesn’t have the twang you’d expect from an ipa. Earthy & wise.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
600 ml bottle. Pours a mildly hazy amber with a significant but short-lived off-white head. Aromas are yeasty funk, bubblegum, and caramel. Taste is a nice bready backbone with a citrus punch. Medium body and carbonation with a long astringent finish. Pretty nice but a very different IPA. Malts are more present than what I’m used to.

Keg at Kick Off, Waterloo, Ontario, 28th April 2013. Not bad, a little too fizzy in the palate, drinks well though, the flavour is nice, not overly assertive, drinkable, but not my sort of IPA
