I love it just for being so different. Nice light malt up front, maybe a hint of caramel (not much). Middle is more like dark fruits (plums, maybe even prunes). Finish is almost minty. Light in the mouth with almost no carbonation. Very interesting beer.

Thanks to cfrancis for this. Pours a murky brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet dried fruits, spicy herbs, pine. Taste is yeast and cloves, some sourness then has some sweetness and fruity notes. Interesting beer that is easy to sip on.

750mL ceramic bottle shared with matt7215, my bottle. Pours a hazy, muddy brown with a very small beige head. The aroma is straight up weird. Cinnamon, cardamon, clove, sweet&sour sauce, BBQ sauce, beef jerky, dry yeast. Bizarre. Flavour is a mix of it all with a lean towards the sourness but some some sweet malty aspects to balance, and whatever the hell bog myrtle must taste like. Smokey and with hints of chicory. Not hard to drink but a little bit unnecessary to my palate’s judgement.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
600ml bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown, rather dark, moderate short-lived tan head. Looked kind of like a Belgian ale. Aroma was a little yeasty and dusty, but mostly dark fruity malt. Taste is tart and herbal with a mild sweetness, salt and yeast. Medium body, decent carbonation. Overall, very unique. Kind of an herbal Belgian ale.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has a murky brown like colour, Aromas of fresh pine and spruce, malted and caramel candy. Has a sour taste profile with a tangy zesty finish which is surprising given the aroma on the nose.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from LCBO. Pours cloudy and brown. Pretty nice aroma; reminds me of a Belgian ale; full of pepper and other spices. Taste is too sweet, very herbal, and spicy... maybe a general "vegetable" taste in there too. Feels a bit thin, and carbonation a bit too high. Not a fan of this one.
EDIT: getting near the end of my glass, and the beer has warmed up. Now I smell some farmyard animals in there, and taste it too. Adjusting my score to average out my initial impressions with my final impressions.

Pours a muddy copper brownish colour with a decent soapy tan head leaving some sticky lace up the glass. Aromas of spice, lemon, yeast and some sweetness. Flavours of clove, yeast, light zesty lemon, overall spicy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
600ml bottle. Pours Hazy brown/orange with average tan head. Vegetal, malty, tangy nose. Rather odd but not in a bad way. Sourish on the palate with vegetal wooden notes and a lemony zing.
