Hazy brown coloured beer with small white head and only few carbonation. Fruity nose with some malts and hops. Full bit sparkling palate. Finish is bitter hoppy and dry.

I was very fond of this one. Classic nutty malt and hops in moderate abundance. Not that carbonated. Got this several times, and it’s Beau’s personal favourite of mine. Shame it’s a seasonal.

Glass bottle from the LCBO and on Tap at Bar Volo. Rating the bottled version: Pours a beautiful amber with thin almost beige head. Aroma is nutty, malty and caramel some fruits and roasted notes. Flavour is nutty, sweet caramel. Medium-light bodied. Overall Pretty good.

Bottle. Copper, amber colour. Half inch white head. Slight haze. Mild toffee and caramel maltiness in the aroma, some grain, earthiness. A tiny hint of smoke. Hop aromas are grassy and restrained. Medium bodied. Woody flavour with toasted malts. There’s more of that smoke from the aroma, then some citrus rind and grassy hops with a bit of dandelion. Caramel in the malt. Toasty finish.

Appearance: Completely transparent orange-brown, sparse, quickly dissipating head. Aroma: Really faint, but hints of vanilla, cream. Palate: Medium bodied, bit of a dry finish. Taste: medium bitterness, slightly salty. Smooth flavour with a bite at the end, not a simple, watery beer, but not very complex either. Taste has notes of malt, nuts and caramel.

1.86 litre jug from the brewery. let me start off by saying that i rated this beer according to its style, and purpose. a refreshing, good tasting beer that lets you pound back as many as you want. dark copper to brown in colour, with a large foamy head that stays. lots of bubbles shooting up the Kolsch glass. a beautiful sight. not very aromatic, but bread and cereals are the main notes in the nose. taste is caramel, and cereals. like a liquid Muslix. crisp, clean and refreshing. perhaps the "cleanest" tasting beer i’ve ever had. i make sure i stock up on this beer everytime it comes out.

On tap. Fairly nondescript but pleasant enough. Grainy, biscuit malts are the story here. Fairly sweet but with some hop bitterness to cut it. Little hop aroma. Fairly thin mouthfeel. Drinkable enough.

growler. pours hazy dark copper, almost brown, with a small light beige head, retention. aroma is nutty, caramel, dry hrebal hops, earth and wheat. taste is very fruity, dry caramel, nuttyness, some bitter coffee notes, herbal-grassy - light to medium. medium to full body, soft carbonation. fairly decent brew,
