Koru Belgian Pale Ale boasts interesting spicy, peppery yeast notes, with tropical fruit inflections from New Zealand Nelson-Sauvin and Rakau hops. Complex and tasty, with a dry finish.

Pours a hazy orange, with a nice creamy head. Aroma has notes of peppery yeast, and orange peel. Tasting notes include peppery yeast, orange peel, grassy hops, medium carbonation, and a dry finish. Much lighter and hoppier than an authentic Belgian ale, interesting!

Brought home from LCBO by Mrs Tiki. Is the third beer of the night for me & it throws a pleasing curve ball at me. Starts off with field grass hops, pepper spicing, a murky middle & then descends into a fairly long dry finish. Bitterness through it all. Prickly carbonation. Multi-faceted pale ale. Nice.

Pours murky orange with a white head. Tropical fruit aroma. Has a bitter grapefruit and citrus taste. Tastes more like a juice than a beer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy medium orange with a small off white head. Nose is yeast, spice, tropical fruits, light honey and some banana. Very light sweetness under a spiciness that presents as pepper and a hint of cloves leading to a moderately bitter finish. Mouth is slightly thin with lively carbonation and a long dry finish. 8-/4-/7+/3/15

cloudy orange pour, off - white head. Nose had Belgian yeasts, fruit, spices, earthy grassiness. Taste is like aroma - yeasts, peppery pice, citrus, banana, grassy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Quite enjoyable, more sessionable than some other Big Belgians.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2016 Nice golden pour with fairly dense head. Smells very yeasty, spicy, some fruity esters. Flavor is nice herbal hops, spiciness, lots of good yeast to make it really Belgian feeling. Nice one, medium bodied.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dry, grassy hops, tropical fruit, lots of yeast and some upfront acidity. Finish is sharp, and dry, with some tart fruit notes and yeasty breads.

600ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Golden orange in colour with a lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is yeasty, grassy hops, spicy, tropical fruits. The flavour is lightly sweet, tropical fruits, citrus, toasty, light peppery spice. Finishes long, some bitterness.
