Verre de dégustation, provenant d’un fût, dégusté à La Soirée des Brasseurs 2012 (Shawinigan, QC). Arôme: Odeur de mangue avec une pointe d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est blonde voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de mangue et de céréales avec une pointe de gingembre. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de mangue en arrière goût. (Rating #4473)

Tap at Only Cafe. Nice and dry with light funky-hoppy snap and herbal overtones, sweetness from malt and fruit, some phenolics, A bit more going on than the tame Patio Saison they are hoping to sell truckloads of to, I presume.

Bottle, pours a nice bright yellow, a nice head, aroma is fruity and flavour is fruity as well, I didnt get a huge amount of mangos in the flavour, just a nice light finish of mango, the body was fairly yeasty and bread tasting, overall it was decent

Bouteille 600 mL. Blonde brouillee a la mousse fine. Nez leger de mangue et de poivre. En bouche, houblon a peine perceptible avec une faible trame de mangue et un petit "kick" de poivre en milieu de bouche. Longueur moyenne. Savoureuse pour le faible pourcentange d’alcool... Tres bien!

Pours a cloudy golden colour with some white head that quickly dissipates to a small ring around the glass. Aromas of sweet malt and mango, pepper and yeast. Flavours consist of mild bitterness, some mango, sweet malt, yeast, pepper and citrus. tasty beer. Tasty beer, a good thirst quencher and session beer.

Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a bubbly white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is mango, pepper, yeast and some spicy earthiness. Taste is peppery mango with some yeast and bitterness on the finish.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a white foamy head, average retention and minimal lacing. Also noticed mild mango pulp after the last pour. Fruity aromas (mango, passion fruit) with some sweet grain malt and peppery yeast. Notes of honey does come out as it warms up. Medium-bodied and wet with a little stickiness and a dry finish. The fruit is much milder in the taste. More Belgian yeast, light hop bitterness, cereal malts with hints of mint. Seems like a nice blend between a witbier and a fruit beer. Quite interesting collaboration with Le Trou du Diable brewery.

On tap at Volo. Pours a cloudy or non see through bright golden yellow with white head. Aroma is funky yeast and light mango. Flavour is more pronounced mango but still gentle with some funky/spicy yeastiness. Nice.

Sample at "La Soirée des Brasseur" beer fest in Shawinigan on August 12, 2012. Blonde straw, small head. Light aroma of mango and sweet herbs. Mango taste very light, much more herbs and wheat, fruity aftertaste. It’s very mild!
