Bland taste, pale colour like Corona, slightly reminiscent of a Molson Canadian-type taste (it’s been ages since I’ve drunk macro-brews). Lug Tread is definitely drinkable, but a little lame for this price range and micro-brewery standards. Maybe I’m not a big fan of this style. But at this price point, I felt compelled to rate it.
I have to say that the second one (on the next day) tastes better than the first. Hmmm.... Maybe there’s a reason they sell these in four-packs.

This beer pours a clear golden colour, with a thick foamy head and great lacing. The aroma notes include apple, caramel, and corn. Tasting notes include apple, pear, crackers, apricots, spices, and a slight hop finish.
This is a decent beer, great for people who are new to craft beer. If you have an advance palate however, this will be rather unremarkable.

Beau’s continue to overprice their beers and I continue to fall victim to the advice of the people around me about how great this brewery is. They don’t make bad beer, mostly, but their brews generally tend to never move past mediocre-not bad. The Lug Tread is probably their worst beer, but it is a lager which is aiming for a larger audience, so that’s okay. Compared to other lagers this one featured some promising hop and spice flavours up front, but by the end it was all a wash.

Meh. It isn’t bad for a lager, but who needs another lager? I do like the hoppy spice notes.

3 finger head and looks like a lager. Carbinated. Smell’s fimiliar but deff not like macro lager. Taste is water,crisp,clean,nice,not ALot of flavours and stuff going on but just easy to drink and better then a macro lager anyday. This would kick ass on a hot day!!!! Cheer’s!!!!!!!&

2013/02/23 - Pours a clear, pale gold color with a creamy white head. Aroma is grains, grass, floral and slight citrus. Taste is corn, floral and slight hops. Very mild. Not impressed

On tap at the ship in hamilton. golden, clear. small head. an excellent session beer. great grassy, bright flavours. lively mouthfeel. pleasantly surprised by what can usually be a bland style category.

Blond color. The aroma is too light. The malt flavor is mild, dry, lightly crispy, not bad. Correct bitterness. It’s a pleasant Lager, easy.
