600ml bottle. Unfiltered brown, large, creamy off-white head. Aroma is brown sugar, dates and Belgian yeast twang. Taste is malty and lots of dried fruit. Body is quite full. Overall, this combination worked pretty well.

Plenolic and faint band-aid aroma with some sweet dates. Hazy-bronze under a white ring. Dry, phenolic clove flavour with some celery, black pepper, and a faint, sweet date note. Delicately balanced. Light body, medium carbonation, despite gushing, clean finish.

[ Bottle #329 ]. Unclear - hazy matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, funky, date. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dates, belgium yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120422]

A lightly hazed reddish copper ale with a thin off white head In aroma, a light sweety fruit malt with faint caramel, not strong. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with light wooden notes, light alcohol warmth, OK but nothing special. On tap at Wellington Gastropub, June 19 2012.

Murky brown/red our with a tan head. Aroma is spicy, Belgian yeast notes, dates, dark fruit, maybe a hint of cherries? Flavor is super dusty, dry, fruity, could almost stand to be a touch sweeter, but not bad. Tasty beer.

Subscription series bottle. Smell is prune and something sugary. Reddish brown colour with one-quarter inch of head and thick lace. Some olive oil taste. So-so drinkability.
