3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2012-03-29. Very dark brown body, nice creamy brown head. 4+ Flavour is pleasant, light roast, mild sweet malt core, very light earthy vaguely nutty character that I would probably not immediately identify as such if I was tasting it blind. The nutty character slowly grows as you go on. 7+ Aroma is a bit nuttier in character, sort of peanut butter like overtones. (I begin to worry that my nose is simply frozen from the ambient temperature in the room!) Average plus bodied palate is nice and suits the beer. Interesting, pretty solid and surprisingly quaffable.
