Extremely pale. Slightly opaque. Borderline overwhelming floral aroma, which ends up in a somewhat citrusy, spicy, light bodied and salty (!) brew. C’mon... do it again!

[3378-20100922] Tap. Wheatie banana fruit and nail polish aroma. Hazy, dark orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head and some lacing. Alcoholic fruit up front in the flavour has peanut and cereal notes and a boozy wheat and plastic aftertaste. Medium-full body. Interesting.

Had this on Tap at Oktoberfest and also a Brewery Jug. All I expected and desired. Would be perfect for a Warm Summer Day on a Patio on any continent, citrus and coriander flavor, nice finish , beautiful color and aroma.

2010-09-24 at Cest What 2010 Fall Festival of Beers, day 1. Cask. I promise to treat ALL beers without prejudice. Really, I do. Very hazy/cloudy orange with a lasting small frothy beige head. Odd, yet strangely appealing aroma - quite sweet, yet intensely floral and herbally bitter at the same time (reminded me of the Edelweisse). The taste really surprised me a lot - turned out not to be either as sweet or pungently floral as the aroma indicated it would - rather light tasting, dry, floral, with a very refreshing whisper of lemon to it (not lemon like in "this beer is old/sour/off lemon," but a really nice shandy-ish dash of lemon) - a bit grassy too, hardly any alcohol. Soft, light mouthfeel, modestly carbonated, with a finish I can only describe as "delicate" - I am stunned how much I liked this - it even has a terrific aftertaste, light, floral, vaguely herbal. Wow.

Cask at ’Cest What Fall Festival of Beer’. Pours a hazy orange with a spare fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity and wheaty along with grain and yeast, kind of like a Hefe with light sour fruit added. Flavour’s interesting, it’s quite fruity along with wheat, grain and yeast. Average bodied. Pretty good.

Don’t get the ’’traditional ale’’ label for this one on RB. Anyway, tastes just like a wheat beer because it is one. Would say hefe-weizen : silky bananas here. Nice medium body, cloudy : Will be a success for sure.

2010-09-24. Hazy dark pastel yellow with a modest white head. 3+ Flavour is sweet and wheaty up front. Brief tart wheat notes, light fruity estery character. 6+ Light bitterness in the finish, takes on a slightly odd profile as it goes on. Sweet aroma of wheat and muted pale grains. 6+ Smooth average plus palate. Quaffable, very wheat beer like, enjoyable. Tap at Cest What, Toronto
