Beaus’s welcomes the heat of the summer with Patio Saison, a snappy and refreshing unfiltered ale. The 5.9% ABV saison offers up mild pepper-and-clove spice in harmony with both the citrusy zest of organic orange peel, and the floral aroma of organic elder flower. The saison style has its origins in the Willonia regoion of Belgium. Traditionally this beer was brewed to slake the thirst of farmhands during harvest time, so it makes a perfect beer for warm weather.

Only reason i gave appearance low rating is because liquid had cloudy and slimy appearance. It made beer appear very unappealing. However, head was clear white and while not overly big lasted quite a while. It tasted quite refreshing and light considering amount of alcohol it contains. My bottle also says it has 6.3% not 5.9%. It was not well carbonated and as i mentioned before with appearance texture was also sticky and oily. However it had a very nice soft finish to it.

Pours a pretty clear golden with a medium white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of citrus, cereals, pepper. Taste is also of citrus/lemon, bready cereals, pepper. Nice classic saison. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel is fluffy. Pleasantly surprised!

600 ml bought at the brewery on December 17, 2015. Golden hazy honey, medium head. Spicy wheat arome, notes of dry oranges. Light orange and herb taste, a bit dry and not that bitter. It’s mostly a refresher!

Bottle from local iga grocery A: orange peel, wheat, lightly spicy app: clear golden minimal small white head t/p: med body with lightly acidic finish. Soft carbonation. O: more a wheat than a saison yeast aroma speaking. Drinkable but but something I would buy again.

Bottle (600 ml). Bought at Marché du Boisé. Split 2-ways. Clear golden with a medium easy to revive white head, moderate retention, leaving some lacing. Aroma is faily spicy with cloves and pepper mostly but not overpowering. As stated in the deScription, there’s also a fair amount of orange peel and there’s also a touch of pine and grapefruits. Taste is moderately spicy (cloves, pepper) with orange peel, a tiny bit of acidity, honeyed malts and herbal notes. Medium body. Good carbonation. Mildly peppery finish. Almost a bit too much going on to be easy drinking, but it’s quite tasty.

Bottle shared with Tom. Clear bright gold pour with rich frothy white head. Aroma is nice and spicy, very peppery, grassy hop aroma, nice dusty hop notes, leafy. Taste is grassy, spicy yeasty notes, estery flavors, light vegetal notes, nice and dry, nice classic saison flavor profile, light tropical fruitiness. Palate is med bodied, good carbonation, nice and dry. Good stuff.

Subtle but solid take on a saison. Lemon and pepper, cloves and mild yeast funk. There’s a nice little dose of resinous bitterness on the back end. Wish it had a little more....rustic charm? but still more than drinkable.

Malt and spice on the nose. a light white head on a yellow-amber body. Zesty lemon hoppiness supported by tropical elements lead the taste profile of this punchy saison. A hint of orange, bready malt and a hint of graininess underpin a tasty and hoppy offering. Clean and refreshing with great unity. A richer body than most saisons.
