12 oz on tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2011, October 2, 2011. Blonde pale, thin head. Light aroma of wheat and banana, a little smoke. Wheat taste very smoky, with notes of minerals, mineral aftertaste. Smoke but not so tasty!

[4356-20120329] Tap. Toasted lager grains aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. More smoked grains and grassy burnt straw notes in the flavour. Medium body. Not a fan, also no bananas on the radar. (4/3/5-/2/10) 2.4

2012-03-29. Hazy golden pastel, small white head. Dryish fairly bitter flavour, bit tangy, and not particularly smokey. Aroma is mild, light smokey touches are more noticeable than in the flavour. Average palate. Light yeasty touches. Okay. I had fully expected to hate this since I am smoke-phobic, but its fairly restrained - perhaps aided by the fact that the keg is a few months old? Ultimately its decent but I suspect that there is just enough smoke that people like me would prefer an unsmoked weiss, while smoke lovers will crave more. Okay. Beaulo Event, Volo, Toronto

Aroma smoky, mild , smooth with good side of clove. Hint of peppercorn on side, mild ending. 6+
Appearance hazed amber gold. Medium white top.3+
Flavor and Palate : frontal smoke with sweet flowery mineral notes. Gentle top smoke well sat on soft textures, Mild, refreshing drinkable brew. 14+/20

Refreshing banana aroma with some hearbal, clove accent and some sour wheat. A hickory smoke aroma comes in as the beer warms and the glass empties. Cloudy orange-yellow under a thin, white cover and ring. Flavour begins with sweet banana and then quickly develops into a smokey, sweet malt that is balanced by moderate carbonation and an herbal, mineral watery finish. Almost clean at the end if not for a little smoke hanging on. Light body.

En fût. Verre de 12 oz dégusté au Beau’s Oktoberfest 2011 (Vankleek Hill, ONT). Arôme: Forte odeur de bananes avec une très légère pointe de fumée. Apparence: La couleur est blonde légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de bananes avec une pointe de fumée. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de fumée en arrière goût. (Rating #3973)

on tap at beau’s oktoberfest. hazy pale golden with a decent white head. nose is lots of bananas, very light smokiness, very hint of sweetness, citrus. average carbonation, light body, short but present herbal-citrusy finish.

A hazed golden hefeweizen with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, a lightly smoked fruity ester with citrus and light sulfur notes. In mouth, a smooth smoked banana with light lingering peaty notes, medium bodied. On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest Oct. 1 2011.
