3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
August 26, 2011 - on cask at Volo. Unbelievably murky dark brownish-orange with a small foamy off-white head - foam, not head. Aroma of light cocoa malt, some alcohol - mostly tart/sour lemon and waves of dry yeast. Taste - follows, but it isnít very well meshed - mid-level sour lemon and a truckload of dry yeast, building alcohol, and it has building herbal bitterness as it warms - an oddball, but good. Thick, acidic and astringent, weakly carbonated, and a long dry yeasty finish - a little gritty gypsum character in the aftertaste.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
[3932-20110825] Cask. Peaty earth aroma has a strange evergreen acid poopy note. Hazy, dark orange amber body with no head. Unpleasant funky malt flavour has a sour finish. Medium body. Not enjoyable for me. (5/2-/5/2/10) 2.4

Cask at Volo for "We Love The Funk Night". Pours a deep pinkish-orange with no head. Aroma is lightly sour, fruity and yeasty and a bit funky. Flavour is yeasty and fruity along with herbs and spices. Average bodied. Very good.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
We Live For the Funk, Bar Volo. A slightly cloudy cask without a head that . Sour only, , rancid water taste. I passed it about as I could not finish it and people said poo above all, how do they know? Smoke and Rhubard taste, Rhubard smell.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2011-08-25. Hazy orange body is headless. Strange aroma has an odd funky character. sort of orange citrus base with funky overtones. Something I canít place. Flavour is sharply bitter up front with just a bit of sourness around the edges. 6+ Average to light bodied palate. 2+ Okay but flavours donít quite come together for me. On tap at Volo, Toronto
