3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This stout poured a deep black colour with a minimal head. Scents include coffee, smoke, roasted malt and a little caramel. First swig was medium bodied with flavours of roasted malts and smoke. Finish was a little sweet with lingering flavours of smoke and malt.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark brown. There is no sweetness in here. Drinks far more like a brown ale than a sweet stout. Some roasty and coffee notes. That’s it. Not that great.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at the brewery. Pours an opaque black, with a large tan head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. The aroma offers fresh milk, milk chocolate and mild coffee. Very mild herbal hops give way to smooth milk chocolate and milk in the mid-palate, which persist into a smooth finish. A nice, smooth stout, maybe a little sweeter than I usually enjoy, but pleasant nonetheless.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown body, brown head, pours a little transparent and thin. Off-white head, some lacing, not a long retention. Creamy lactose and roast cocoa aroma, bread, sweet biscuit, vanilla, but all pretty subtle. Taste is sweet coca, some lactose, some acidity, a touch of dry roast. Over all, decent.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Dark brown pour, mostly clear, with a small tan head - quite light in colour for a stout. Aroma is a little sweet and a little roasty, fairly light, subtle caramel and coffee, not a lot going on. Taste is light, a little sweet, pretty simple with a bit of roasty bitterness in the finish. Calling this a milk stout is definitely over-promising - this is a pretty weak stout with a bit of bitterness and without the richness and creaminess that a milk stout would normally have.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is caramel, toffee, oats, cereal and molasses. Taste is dark sweet malts, brown sugar and caramel. The flavors are balanced however it disappeared a bit quicker than desired.Appearance is a dark amber with a frothy beige head that retains pretty well. The body is too light to be stout however . More of a porter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from LCBO. Bottled a couple months ago. Pours brown with small but well-retaining light tan head. The aroma is pleasant, roasted malts and coffee with a sweet edge that is neither milky nor sugary. A bit syrupy perhaps, and burnt caramel. Tastes sweetish with black rye bread crust sourishness, a bit of earthy dry bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation and medium body. Pretty nice, I quite like it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours an almost opaque brown topped by a creamy tanned head showing good retention and lacing. Nose is sweet and earthy. Faint roasted malts and instant coffee with burnt notes and table syrup. Same goes for the taste, with a noteable mineral element that’s not really enjoyable. Interesting creamy texture and very dry finish with the earthy hops and burnt toasts notes lingering. An enjoyable stout, but there are better ones out there. Cheers!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nothing special about this, a bit light, but very drinkable and enjoyable. Is a sweet one at 1st. I’d get it again.
