Ceramic, drank in a pint glass. Purchased at Beau’s Brewery. Pours copper, not much as far as aroma is concerned. Smallish whitehead. Slight, really slight orange palate. Expected something grainier, and it wasn’t grainy at all. Finish was abrupt and bitter. Really bitter. Not a fan of APA’s, though. It was a total letdown as far as I’m concerned. I might say that the the beer was sold as the Gabba Gabba Hey! (I would have bought it anyways, but a Ramones-inspired title was a big winner), and not the Tommy Gun.

Growler from the brewery. Pours an amber brown with a nice medium froth white head. Aroma of hop and caramel. Taste has a real nice mouthfeel of a dry hop bitterness with a slight caramel undertones. Nice effort by Beau’s. Hopefully this will become a yearly addition.

Fuzzy brown orange, clean light aroma w/ some citrus and a whiff of funk. Hops wayyy too grasy, and it lacks fine subtle hop aroma and detail... where’s the fruit & the juicy hop flavors?

Cask at ’Volo Cask Days 2009’. Pours a slightly hazy, bubbly orange-copper with a spare bubbly white head. Mild aroma of cream soda (?) -- not on style and a bit wtf? but it smells nice. Flavour of light caramel malt, floral hops and some citrus fruit -- it’s a little dull. Decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Aroma is nice, flavour’s OK.

Enjoyed on-tap at Rhino’s. A medium golden colour, with fair represenattion of white head and lace. Very good hop aroma. Average mouthfeel, easy drinking. Good bitterness, some citrus, it is some’s IPA, good pale. best Beau I have tried.Drying finish.

nice APA from Beau’s/ I really like this one .. not over the top but a good effort on the style. Amberish body, some rocky foam. nose is citrus, some malt but small dose. flavor is like orange zest i think some dry bitterness and a touch again of malt. interesting finish. I think pretty well done

from cask at Bar Volo Cask Days 2009. Cloudy light amber colour with slight tan head. Noticeable aroma of bitter and sweet. Citrus, bitter flavour.

Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2009. Ah, Beau’s - proof you don’t need skillz, just marketing and a horde of deluded followers braying your praises; let the mediocrity commence. Slightly hazy orange-amber with an average off-white head. Decent aroma of orange juice, floral bitterness and caramel. The taste - I want to like it, but it’s persistently harsh - citrus zest, sharply floral, and an overly pungent generic bitterness (hop extract?) that I found irritating. Average mouthfeel, extremely astringent, with a long generic dry/bitter finish. Not all that bad, actually. For Beau’s, it’s a "cuvée"
