nice APA from Beau’s/ I really like this one .. not over the top but a good effort on the style. Amberish body, some rocky foam. nose is citrus, some malt but small dose. flavor is like orange zest i think some dry bitterness and a touch again of malt. interesting finish. I think pretty well done

from cask at Bar Volo Cask Days 2009. Cloudy light amber colour with slight tan head. Noticeable aroma of bitter and sweet. Citrus, bitter flavour.

Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2009. Ah, Beau’s - proof you don’t need skillz, just marketing and a horde of deluded followers braying your praises; let the mediocrity commence. Slightly hazy orange-amber with an average off-white head. Decent aroma of orange juice, floral bitterness and caramel. The taste - I want to like it, but it’s persistently harsh - citrus zest, sharply floral, and an overly pungent generic bitterness (hop extract?) that I found irritating. Average mouthfeel, extremely astringent, with a long generic dry/bitter finish. Not all that bad, actually. For Beau’s, it’s a "cuvée"

[2567-20091031] Cask. Sweet yoghurt raisin malt aroma has some citrus notes. Clear, medium orange body with a quick white bubbly head. Orange citrus dry peel hops flavour has some thick citrus malt. Medium body is bitter. Interesting to try, quite a bitter finish and aftertaste.

Volo – Cask Fest 2009
Appearance: light haze on amber, gold shine , light rocky top.
Nose: Mild , light nose , sweet fruity notes , hint of spice. Pleasant yet bit too light.5+
Flavor/Palate : Sweet ,soft , clean that makes it quiet approachable. Golden malts with soft finish. Light fruity hints with bitterness on top end. Polite brew.

Volo Cask Days 2009. Medium hop aroma, some citrus, and floral notes. Flavor was pretty straight forward, some hops, and malt, nothing overpowering, but a solid APA.

2009-10-31. Orange amber body with a small beige head. 3+ Modest aroma of hops, resin, muted citrus. Flavour is similar, modest citrus throughout, resin, bitterness and leafy resin grow as the glass goes on. Average plus palate. Pretty decent, but strikes me as one I might personally enjoy more on draught than on cask. Cask at Volo Cask Days 2009
