600ml bottle from the LCBO. clear golden with a small white head. ginger and wheat malt nose. medium bodied, nicely spiced though not very pumpkin beer like. does not drink like a hefe at all, much more like a saison. great beer if you can get over that its nothing like it says it will be.

tap at beau’s oktoberfest, vankleek hill, on. cloudy pale yellow with a nice white head, decent retention. wheat and spices, lots of spices, citrus, dry palate. average carbonation, medium body, dry herbal-citrusy relatively short finish. best of beau’s wild oat series.

Bottle and on tap - pours a clouded orangey gold with a rich cap. Lots of natural effervescence. Demure aroma is a mutation of a Hefeweiss and a pumpkin beer - fruitiness just below a musky earthy squash tones and pumpkin spices prevalent. Flavor is also a amalgam of Hefe and pumpkin flavors much like pumpkin pie spritzer - bready, pumpkiny, spicey but with Weiss peppery carbonation and dryness - the finish dries and you get herbal-woody Hallertau bite at the end. A zesty pumpkin beer that is actually refreshing/quenching as well. More great innovative brewing from Beau’s.

Bottle, pours a cloudy yellow, aroma is spicey, of cinnimon and a wheaty spice, the flavour is really quite nice, it has a wheat flavour with a good pumpkin spice finish, enjoyable offering.

Bottle pours hazy gold and white head, lively aroma of citrus and hop plays into taste, flavor of crisp and citrusy hops and what may be ginger, finish lemon and nice hop dryness. Very original style.

12 oz on tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2011, October 2, 2011. Misty Blonde, thin head. Spicy aroma of wheat, not much pumpkin. Taste of wheat and pumpkin very spicy, very dry, bitter spice. A very original pumpkin beer!

600 ml bottle. Pours a foggy yellow-white with a short-lasting white head. Smell is spices and pumpkin. Taste is very spicy (ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon), orange, pumpkin. Quite sweet, very subtle. Touch of orange and citrus in the finish. Some lingering orange-citrus-spice post-finish. Medium bodied. An excellent pumpkin ale.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2012 October 31, 2012 - on draught at the Bar Hop Black & Orange Fest. Hazy light gold with a decent white fizzy/creamy white head. Aroma is mostly light hefeweiss and spice, just a hint of pumpkin pie character. Taste is even less pumpkin, more lemon an satsuma peel than anything. Average body, solid carbonation, fruity and spicy in the finish. Really pleasant!
