COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Think of a smooth Amber Ale with a hint of Basil in the background… delicious. That’s exactly what we did with Basil. The deep amber color is a beer drinkers “wet dream”. Just enough hops to add to the flavor but not too many to overpower that Earthy Basil aroma.

Small sample at the Bocktown; civilized, nice very beer friendly place! Off brown pale color. Nice creamy head. Yes, sweet mild basil aroma. Not much CO2, of course; poured from a pitcher. Unique ale experience fer sure. Interesting, fun and easy. Overall not bad for a ceative beer. Got to check other basils on this site. Would certainly do aagain. A few ale attributes nicely covered with a hometown spicey feel.

This poured an amber color with a beige head. Aroma was lots of basil, light hops and some roast. Flavor was just way way too much basil, and some off garbage flavors too. Just bad.
