Commercial Description:
This German style wheat beer is refreshing, lightly hopped, unfiltered and yeasty, highly effervescent, slightly sour with a flavor and aroma suggestive of cloves and bananas.

draft at the brewpub - Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is very yeasty with some citrus notes. It has a very citrusy flavor that’s light and sweet. The carbonation is soft and the finish smooth.

On tap. Hazy yellowish in colour with almost no head. Feels a bit thin. Sweet and banana like. Notes of fruits and cloves.

Had this on-tap at the brewery in Flagstaff. Delicious. Served with a lemon wedge - but I don’t get into this. Who wants lemon in their beer? Enjoyed this beer above the others tried at the brewery.

On tap @ Beaver Street poured a hazy yellow with a small disapating white head. Aromas of wheat, clove, light banana and a hint of lemon. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, clove, light lemon and a hint of banana with a lingering citrus finish.

Poured the usual yellow color with brownish hues, cloudy. The head was pretty weak for a hefe. Aroma was of cloves and banana, pretty authentic, rather balanced too (toss that dang lemon slice!). The flavor was balanced between the clove and banana flavors, as well as some serious wheat graininess and citrus flavors. I enjoyed this combination, but found it to be a bit too sweet.
