COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ale is stronger and more heavily bodied than a pale ale with a higher amount of bitterness. The blend of English and American hops make this copper colored ale pleasing for those pale ale lovers.

clear pale gold color with a thin white head. big floral aroma with notes of pale malt, dusty spice, orange/maybe apricot? and slight pine. the flavor pairs really well with spicy food!... sweet pine, orange, peach and earthy spice stand out in front of a pale malt background. there is a light bitterness and a dryness throughout which cleans off the palate while the hoppiness lingers. the medium body is crisp and dry. 6/3/6/3/15/3.3

Gold pour, white head. Citrus/pine hops in the nose and follows suit in the flavor. Not overly bitte, juicy hops, light caramel. Not bad.

In flight at brewpub followed by a 10oz. Copper pour with a lasting off white head. Big citrus & resin aroma with some malty sweetness. Medium body and carbonation. Good sweet bitter balance in the taste with a really bitter finish.

West USA trip 2010. On tap @ the brewpub. The aroma has flowers, pine and citrus. Clear, yellow coloured beer with an off-white, thin head. The taste is quite bitter and has the same flavours as present in the aroma. Good IPA.

Had this fresh on tap. Bright grapefruit aromas with a lingering one finger head. Full and malty with just the right hop presence. Good carbonation.

On tap @ Beaver Street This beer was called Hop Shot at the time I visited. It may be a new beer, but I didn’t ask. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a small off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is big floral and pine hops. Flavor is much of the same with the addition of some malt sweetness for balance. Smooth hoppy finish. Medium body. An excellent beer. I even got a growler fill that never made it home. By far the best beer during my Flagstaff visit.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2009 On tap at Made in the Shade. Pours a golden color with a white head..Aroma of hops malt and pine. Flavors are the same as the aroma. Fairly tame IPA without a lot of hop dimension. But still enjoyable.
