A rich dark heavier ale made with chocolate, black and roasted barley malts and gelatinized oatmeal. Lightly hopped, this brew is slightly sweet, full of body and flavor.

@ beaver street brewery in a glass, nice black coloured stout with foamy white and lacing head. Smell: roasted malts, some coffee, drops. Taste: nice balance between roasted malts and the bitterness. Very nice stout! But I donít understand the naming of ísweet stoutí because it isnít sweet at all. Congrats!

Pours a black in color with a tan head. Aromas of slight roasted malt and mild chocolate. Flavors of semi sweet chocolate, coffee, and oatmeal. I was expecting a little more sweetness.

Served in a pint glass at the Beaver Street brewpub. Deep, near black color; clear with dark brown highlights at the edges and a modest but durable tan head. Nice lacing left behind. Aroma: Mildly sweet dark roast malts with oatmeal and a hint of coffee. Flavor: similar to nose, with good sweet/bitter balance despite a solid expresso note in the finish. Oats round out the flavor and add some nice balance. Fnish has a nice lingering roasted grain and light coffee flavor. M: Medium carbonation Clean and dry finish. O: a very fine, somewhat Irish style Oatmeal stout.

A fairly strong oatmeal to the aroma, but a little acetyl/butter as well. This has a medium coffee flavor but Iím also getting a little funk as well. Not working for me.

Pint on tap. I think this is "Lumberyardís" best beer. Opaque & black, it pours a moderate head that fades to nothing. Itís relatively viscous and has light lacing, but is adhesive. Aroma is great, toasted & burnt malts, a little sweet. Taste is very warm & toasty, just a tiny bit herbal and sweet. Long aftertaste, big bodied beer. I donít know what the hell gelatinized oatmeal is, but itís good!

Coffee dark chocolate leather soy aroma. Taste is similar but a tad oily and more towards sweet and soy. Finish has just enough dryness and roastiness to balance this beerís sweet full body.Draft at beaver street. My go too brewery up in flag before I head to fbc. Very good stout.
