8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.

Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really.

couleur orange; mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés, fruités et un peu épicé; finale moyennement amère et douce (j’aurais aimé un peu plus d’amertume)

A hazy copper-colored body eith a light brown, well lasting fluffy head. Nose has aromas resin, caramel, mild citrus and a touch of rye. Taste is fairly sweet and caramelly with a strong, bitter finish. Lively carbonation and medium-full nouthfeel. Quite nice and balanced, could use a bit more aroma hopping.

355ml can served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy red color that forms a big and creamy beige head with good retention and tons of lingering and soapy lacings left in the glass. Nose is fruity and malty with the strong notes of rye which is... particular but quite enjoyable. Strong notes of grapefruit too. Herby hops. Taste follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of caramel, grapefruit and rye. Moderated bitterness. Full body. Average carbonation. Smooth texture. Caramel malts and grapefruit in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. I’m particularly fan of Rye IPAs. This one is a great example.

Straight from the can. Unfortunately the aroma is masked by the aluminium but still has a strong resin smell. Bitter and sharp with a fragrant aftertaste. Quite yeasty.
