8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.

Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really.

(Bottle): Pours a hazy dark amber, small off white head. Aroma of pineapples, lemon, peaches, sweet malty character and some dark, vinous notes. Taste is sweet, juicy tropical fruit. Some citrus, malt and pine notes hitting aswell. Nice bitterness and super smooth.

Restrained floral aroma in a hazy copper pour. Hop forward balance with creamy spicy body. Finish is crisp, clean, sustained - and leaves one wanting another. Just what the brewer intended no doubt...

Deep amber, red color with beige frothy head that permains a Lot. Aroma of fresh, bitter hops that punches your nose without esitation. Very good , clean and powerfull aroma, Plenty of pineapple, tropical sweet fruits, stone fruits, a lot of grapefruits and resins over the subtle spicey notes. Very inviting aroma. Flavour is little bit Less complex than the aroma. A lot of caramel, sweet tropical fruit, Also rye spices, and good piney finish. Also, a subtle returns of pineapple, Peach, stone fruits, some dunkness on the tongue. A little bit thin, to thin, but smooth, and surely dunk. light body, soft carbonation, thin feel, sticky, soft finish, dry and with a little Kick of alcol heat

Hazy amber beer with a bubbly white head and a tangy, slightly sour fruity smell. Flavour has the same qualities but with a drier, hoppier kick than I expected. Really nicely balanced and very drinkable.

330 ml can at home served in a 1/3rd pint glass that we call a "gill". Hazy brown with an off-white skim. Smells like blue fruit and tropical flavoured sweet shop chews. These are there in the flavours too, but I also get a meaty,, beef-jerky note at the back of the tongue. The astringency in the finish takes no prisoners, either. Full bodied, bitter as sin, A rather adult beer:I am distinctly wowed.

330ml can. Copper in colour. Spicy, malty, bitter beer. Hoppy aromas. Good, but I prefer some of Beavertowns other beers.
