8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.

Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really.

(Bottle): Pours a hazy dark amber, small off white head. Aroma of pineapples, lemon, peaches, sweet malty character and some dark, vinous notes. Taste is sweet, juicy tropical fruit. Some citrus, malt and pine notes hitting aswell. Nice bitterness and super smooth.

29-JUN-2016, draft from flight @Brewdog Firenze. Hazy copper with a lasting, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is a bit weak. Sweet with loads of malt and especially rye taste. Grassy, dry hopped, citrus, bread, spice. Sweet, medium carbonation, quite bitter. I like these sweet IPA’s. And rye does add interesting stuff to it. Nice.

330ml can from Favourite beers. Hazy/cloudy dark orange colour with a one-two finger off-white head. Aroma of spicy orange, bread, rye, pine, citrus. Taste of citrus, orange, spices, biscuity/bready malt, other dark fruit. Bitterness is fairly low for the style, it’s a very well balanced IPA, easily drinkable, smooth mouthfeel.

Puszka z datą: 21/04/16
WYGLĄD: Barwa ciemnozłota/bursztynowa, zmętnione. Piana średniej wysokości.
AROMAT: Intensywny. Przypomina nieco Black IPA (cytrusy, jagoda, malina, nuty łodygowo- trawiaste).
SMAK: Dosyć wytrawne. Cytrusowe z wyraźną nutą zbożową, ale nie taką jak w Wheat Ale. Posmak łodygowo-trawiasty. Goryczka średnia, nieco zalegająca.
OGÓLNIE: Przyjemne, zapadające w pamięć.

Hazy, brown/amber pour with a tight but impressive beige head. Spicy, orange, caramel, tropical fruit aromas. Taste is more of that spice, caramel, pine, a bit of citrus. Bitterness isn’t overwhelming but cuts nicely through the spicy malty bits. They can make beer, these guys...

Can. Rye spice, bread, and lots of earthy and orange hops. Pours a murky brownish-orange with a thick, creamy head and some fairly strong lace. Lighter sweetness lots of spice, and a mid-plus bitter finish. Medium body. Average carbonation.

Bearly any foam but a good looking dark amber cloudy beer. Strong fruity smell of sitrus and vanilla. Taste is mellow and incredible well balanced with barely any bitter after taste. Highly recomended on a hot summer day but with 6.2% alcohol maybe not to many.
