660ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy pale gold, thick white head, high carbonation. Aromas of apples, tart dryness, yeasty, bread, light spice. Taste brings an almost cinnamon spice, more apples, but not in a cider way. Dry finish, unusual and good.

Bottle. Tried as Barley Champagne. Golden and poured with a massive head. Slightly sour with some fruitiness. Cloudy appearance. I can understand why some people might like this one but it doesn’t hit any buttons for me although I usually love Saison. Disappointing.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy orange with a generous head and quite frantic bubbles. Nose - pineapple sorbet. Taste - zesty lemon and pineapple and a hint of spice. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry zesty texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a decent saison that drinks well for the higher alcohol.
