(65 cl bottle courtesy of minutemat; BBD: September 2015) Pours a hazy golden with medium, white head and some lace. Decent retention. Aroma has notes of hay, brett, saion yeast (pepper9 and hints of apple. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a short, tart finish. Flavour is relatively dry with some yeast notes and a mild tartness. Not that impressive when enjoyed from a champagne flute.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Spritzy. Aroma is toffee, fudge and some caramel with mild herbs and yeast to it as well. Flavour is fruity, some herbs, yeast and mild wooden notes. Quite a spritzy, but still nicely balanced and refresing brew.

750 ml bottle. Vertical tasting with Dom Perignon 2004. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small head. Aroma of green apples, some Saison yeast, orange peel and some sour dough. Flavour of rich green apple notes, wood, sour dough, sweet orange and bitterness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Dry. Dom is better. :)

75 cl bottle as "Beavertown Barley Champagne". BBE 12/2015
Pours clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Toffee is the first thing on the nose, apricot, some green apples, mild herbal notes and yeast. Not as carbonated as I expected, quite heavy feel to it actually, yeast rounds the otherwise crisp fruity flavor, some spice notes with mild toffee and caramel. Finishes sour and somewhat woody. Quite an interesting brew on many aspects.

23/V/14 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: IX/2015 (2014-526) Thanks to JefVerstraete for sharing the bottle!

Clear bright orange beer, big aery fizzy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sour apples, apple sauce, bit spicy, "flowery apples", cider with a lot of yeast, bit soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sour, apple sauce, pretty bitter, bit spicy, weird and funky. Aftertaste: weird bitterness, champagne yeast, no, let me rephrase that: lots and lots of champagne yeast, bit sourish, not much else.

Bottle shared by Joris, many thanks. Hazy gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is cidery, light funkiness, lots of oak, bretty, lactic notes, yoghurt, lots of floral aromas, light honey. Taste is sweet, fruity and tart, lactic acidity, light apple juice, a bit too sweet to be super refreshing, but still quite enjoyable. Palate is med bodied with light carbonation. Nice beer.
