Keg at BumDog takeover. Peachy hefeweizen looks minus much head. Bits of lace. Chewy, slightly edgy farmyard aroma with shortbread crumbs. Shortbread steeped with lime taste, mellow acid and creeping almond. I’m losing the faith a bit tonight, keg-wise. Plenty of emperor’s. Good biscuit. Not getting apricot. Hints of dung. To be honest not attractive. If it was on hand pull in The Crown I’d give it 525210.

Euston Tap. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, airy and slightly crisp. Mild sweet malt. Nice fruity tang, not particularly apricot, more tangerine. Light citric bitterness. Light crisp and semi dry finish. Solid.

On tap at the Draft House Charlotte Street London. Clear pale gold lasting white head. It’s an ok apa a little sweaty sox some apricot but it’s not sweet. Decent hop on the finish. Nicely drinkable after a bit of a walk. Good

Tap at Dukes. Golden coloured with small white head. Aroma is fruity, bit grainy. Taste is nice enough, slightly bitter, nice fruitiness, apricot i guess, but certainly some citrus there too. Orange and lemon. Pretty Refreshing. Nice.

Apricot in a pale ale that hasn’t the bestest flavours but standards are so high. Off amber hue. What is a hue?

Tap at Dukes. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is apricot, peach, tangerine, wood and varnish. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, apricot, peach, tangerine, pine and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-balanced and rather drinkable. Good stuff.
