3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy of Thomas that he shared with myself Mes & Sim at Merton Beer Festival, big thanks! Friday 28th February 2014 . Pours murky hazy puddley gold colour with off-white head. Sweet in fact a little too sweet, there is not a great deal of apple a very little tanginess. It is yeasty, spicy and with quite a lot of caramel some mushy indistinct apples but I wish this was a bit zappier. Fine but not as good as I was expecting. Many thanks to Thomas for sharing this. 3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared with mR_fr0g at Dukeís Brew & Que, Hackney on 11 January 2014. Poured a cloudy yellow with a thin white head, which dissipated fairly rapidly. Aroma of fresh apples, vanilla and yeast esters. Interesting initial flavours; some citrus hop in there, but also sweet honeycomb and pastry. Finish was brown sugar, cooked apples and crusty brown bread. An interesting beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
660ml bottle, pours hazy light golden with a small white head. Substantial complexity in the aroma with banana and juicy apple, coriander, saison yeast spiciness, with a resiny hop character. Finish is quite sweet with a hint of bitterness. The flavours marry quite well. Carbonation is average, palate is a little oily. Good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Deans pale lager tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Pours a hazy blond beer with thin white head on top. Aroma is vegetables, sour apples and it looks like itís a little bit off. Flavor is very strange, sour fruits and sweet yeasts. Quite an interesting take on the saison style. Brett is noticeable in the back of the flavor. Interesting brew!
