Deep red to black body. Medium with a finger of nice beige foam. The aroma is of hops, burned malts, some chocolate, some coffee, some pine and citrus. Same taste, some hop oils too.

(Bottle) Black ale with a decent off-white head. There’s a maltiness to the aroma but the grapefruit edge of the citra hops cuts through it too. The flavour is an interesting balance, with the citrus, hops and fruity malt making for an unusual combination which works very well. It’d work equally well as a more warming pint in the winter (with the toasty malt flavour) and a summery one because of the light fruit. Very nice.

Bottle. Aroma is classic Black IPA style, roasted complemented with load of hops. Dark in colour. Taste is very nicely balanced, roasted malt and hoppy bitterness with sufficient malt background. Very good.

Bottle @ joes shared by me. Dark brown to black colour with a medium sized off-white head. Smells very hoppy, fresh, some onion/chives (probably citra hops). Tastes like a black ipa should taste. Hops, roasty, bitter, some chocolate, some coffee. Very nice! Medium to full body, nice carbo.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Opaque black color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is lovely: malts, slightly roasted malts, hops, spruce. Taste malts, lightly roasted malts, nicely hoppy, moderately bitter, some pine and spruce. Quite well balanced. Medium body and carbonation. Very nicely done.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, roasted malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with chocolate, alcohol, roasted malt, and bread, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Flaska. Farba ako brown ale. Na black IPA je farba prilis svetla. Vona velmi prijemne vyvazena, slad, chmel, jemne v pozadi alkohol. Chutovo je to paradne pivo. Vyvazenost sladu a chmelu je fenomenalna. Lahko karamelova, ovocna v pozadi chmel. Osviezujuce pivo, ktore by som vedel pit kazdy den.
