Min#900 Fin duft av humle, lakris og karamell. Mørk grå farge, nesten sort. Tynt lag skum. Nydelig smak av lakris med en liten syrlig fin ettersmak.

Bottle from the Grumpy Goat in Reading. Black with a small, fleeting bubbly-creamy head. Zesty citrus aroma. Nice blend of hops and dark malt. Smooth for a fairly strong beer. The citrus isn’t overdone so it works.

Bottled, 330ml from House of Trembling Madness, York. Black with off white head. Firstly there is a fusty note to this, a little note of funghi, flat yeastiness, this moves on with a dark chocolate flavour, coffee and then a pleasing blast of citrus hops, good and tangy. An improving beer through the glass.

Bottle thnx to MannyGoldberg, cheers! Pours a black beer with a small beige head on top with much lacing on the sides. Aroma is perfectly combined with both influences of hops and malts. Chocolate and citrus with touches of caramel. Very nice. The flavor is nice bittersweet with the bitterness overwhelming in the finish. Long, bitter finish with touches of dark chocolate. Very nice brew. Great.

Keg @ Dukes Brew & Cue. Pours a silky black with a dusty coal aroma. A resinous bitterness with great hoppy citrus elements, all balanced exceedingly well. A captivating black IPA.

More aggressive than the Brew Dog. Bigger hops through most of the palate with the hops very much a resiny new world fashion. Very fresh and challenges the roast and bitter chocolate nicely.

330ml Bottle. Dark brown/black, very thick. Small, lasting light brown head. Roasted malt aromas of dark chocolate and coffee, with a notable floral and orange character. Hints of spice and aniseed. A smooth and creamy mouthfeel, with an oily texture. Initial flavours of espresso and rich caramel, with hints of dried fruits, slightly smokey. Finish is a bitter citrus, combined with a dark chocolate flavour. Slightly spiced, with notes of licorice. Excellent BIPA

From a bottle. Pours like cola, thick lasting dark creamy head, hoppy aroma, rich bitter chocolate and coffee flavours, thick and dark this is an amazing beer. I love this stuff!

Flaske 0,33l spandert av Rune og delt under samling hos ham 6 Feb 14. Svart. Litt farget skum som etterlater en pen lacing. God ferskenaroma. Smaken er fersken & plommer. Avslutter litt tørt. Bra - men litt uvariert. KI=2
