4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap @ Duke’s Brew and Que, London, 26/08/13. Pours a hazy yellow with a small, white head. Aroma is a lot of grapefruit and lemon. And by a lot, I mean a lot. Taste is unbelievably fruity. Very fresh superbly full of lemon, citrus and grapefruit. Light and refreshing, well carbonated. Almost as good as 8 Ball. Beavertown really do the style superbly. Had I drunk these in different order, the scoring might’ve varied. Will have to verify at a later date.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
LCBF as ’Blood Orange IPA’. 1/3 pint. Cloudy yellow, no head. Smells of……..blood orange and similar fruits. Tangerine, citrus hops. Body is medium. Taste - toned down citrus. There is a nice bite to it - plenty of bitterness. A tasty, drinkable, sessionable IPA. Good stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Dukes. Pale blond with creamy white head. Aroma is boozy, bit of fruit, quite harsh. Taste is subtle orange, bit fishy(?), spicy malt. Has a bit of a burn. The aftertaste is quite nice, better than the first bit anyway. Bit disappointing as I thought I would like this more than I did.
