Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

Can; fresh brewery pick-up on Saturday; consumed 3rd May 2015. Golden with white lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma is Spanish oranges, tart, soft fruits. Taste is MNS orange juice, orange tart, big us hops, pine, pilth and juicy filth. An astounding beer. So much improved now the tanning has been cut down. Super!

Can from a farm shop off the A19. Pours hazy blond with a frothy white head. The aroma is pine and orange. The taste starts bitter with pine notes. A little orange sweetness, but it could use a bit more for me. Fells like it is missing some malt in the background. The alcohol is a little evident too. Good beer, but could be better.

Can from Oddbins London Bridge poured in a snifter. Orange is as descriptive a color as any and doubles here as foreshadowing. Aroma is orange as well, but does give that much of a clue of what is in store. Can you say Creamsicle? Sure, I knew you could. Even with all the orange, there remains a nicely balancing bitterness. And there is absolutely none of the burn you occasionally get from an ABV of 7.2%. I’d love to drink this on a hot summer day, but this cool London spring evening will do very nicely, thank you.

Smells like passionfriot and stonefruit with apricot. Light golden, lighter than expected with a thick white head. Not getting orange from the aroma. Wow, surprising candied orange peel flavour lurks with some obviouty backed up by grainy citrus and medium rich resin notes. a real journey,
