Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

My last can of this, as with most Beavertown it's not a beer you can hate and soon becomes a core go to beer. Crisp, dry, golden, tasty, but with a nice dry edge to it

Draft @ Beer Deluxe, Melbourne. Clear gold beer, creamy white head. Hop driven nose - pine, grass, touch of passionfruit, good hit of citrus with biscuity malts underneath. Full body, resiny, light carbonation, touch of acidity is welcomed. Good slug of toasty, biscuity malt upfront paves the way for resiny hops, pine, good whack of citrus rind - not OTT, well measured, easily overlooked as being extra "hoppy". Moderately high bitterness, very drinkable. Top notch, the combo works very well!

330 ml can. Unclear yellow body with a dense, lacing white head. Refreshing aroma of citric fruit and oranges. Flavor is nice and refreshing as well, citric fruit, mild pale malt, oranges and average bitterness for an IPA. Medium body and nice aftertaste that ends up a with a slightly zest kind of bitterness. Nice and easy.

Haze in the entry but with fresh citric notes. The zest is notable in the first taste and a lot of hops comes along. Long palate and staying around for some time. Enjoyable soft and character of orange.

Very nice, very drinkable ipa. Some subtle aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Taste nice amount of bitterness. Some good body from the alcohol.
