Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

UPDATED: APR 30, 2016 12oz can, right from the can in Bayreuth. Nice hoppy aroma with oranges and a little pine. Flavor is floral, oranges, pine. Pretty good beer that ends dry.

Can from deeside drinks emporium. Pours a slightly hazed yellow orange with a white frothy head that lasts. Aromas of punchy orange, hay and slight peppery notes. Flavour is juicy orange with grapefruit and a something else I can’t put my finger on. Very drinkable!

Keg, third at Six Degrees North. Next to clear golden body. Fair white head, not much lace. Smell of pine and citrus. Cocktail of citrus to the taste buds, grapefruit, orange and lemon, well-blended. Prolonged finish. Soft in the mouth. Well bodied. Tasty and refreshing ipa (Aberdeen 19.04.2016).

Aroma of oranges and citrus. Pours light golden with almost no head. Taste of bittersweet oranges and yeast. Light bodied, average carbonation and an amazingly long and bitter after taste. Draught pint at Waterloo tap, London. I quite like this.

33 cl från systembolaget. Glömde bort denna och den var nog aningen trött när jag drack denna men jag tror att den har potential. Blir att löpa ett 6 pack nästa gång jag är i London.

Can. Pours pale yellow. Piney aroma with grapefruit, peach and apricot. Nicely balanced taste with some sweet and sour. Minimal bitterness. I didnt really notice the orange but it certainly does something to the taste to make this stand out from other ipa’s. Very enjoyable and easy drinking.

Clear golden. Small head. Floral aroma witg some ripe fruit on the backend. Spices in the taste along with the raisins  and citrus zest. There’s something else I can’t figure out, which makes it totally different from normal ipa. But quite decent drink.
