COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

@ Havregatan. Flaska (330 ml) från Systembolaget (33:-). Fruktig, citrus och apelsin, hög sötma, karamell, medelfyllig, oljig i konsistensen. Avslutningen är torr och besk med fruktiga toner av citrus.

Canned. Pours hazy pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma is mainly citrus. Aromas are citrus (orange), tropical fruits, pine resin. Somewhat oily texture, average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Refreshing and tasty!

Can, shared at a beer tasting. Pours clear yellow, nice steady head. A lot of grapefruit and tangerine in the nose, zesty esters, rich. Very noce balance between fruitiness and bitterness in the mouth. Like.

Pours gold with a large head. Nose shwos piny, earthy, spicy and grapefruit-like hops with some very light malt underneath. Similarly hoppy flavours, some citrus comes through the hops. Nice biscuity malt.

Poured from a bottle. Very good offering, although it didn’t come off as an IPA -- but that’s okay, it was smooth and fruity.

Aroma of citrus, oranges and hops pours a pale straw color with a lasting white well laced head. Wonderful taste of blood orange, citrus and hops with a dry medium body feel and a lightly bitter palate.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising. A clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of spicy orange, grapefruit, some caramel and subtle grassy hops. Taste of blood orange, grapefruit, some mango maybe, caramel and spicy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet orange bitterness in the finish. A fruity, moderately sweet IPA. Went down well.

Simply an incredible beer! On draft is amazing and in the can you have to give it a little swirl at the bottom to get the full flavour going.

Straw color, white soapy head. Distinct aroma of blodd orange. Taste orange, pine and citrus with some floral feeling. Creamy mouthfeel, but dry aftertaste of bitter orange peel.
