COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

@ Havregatan. Flaska (330 ml) från Systembolaget (33:-). Fruktig, citrus och apelsin, hög sötma, karamell, medelfyllig, oljig i konsistensen. Avslutningen är torr och besk med fruktiga toner av citrus.

Can, 330ml from Hennings Wine Merchants, Chichester, W.Sussex. Clouded orange gold with short lived head. The aroma is just a touch cat pee like, a touch off putting but the flavour is what this is about, there is a fresh, tangy, zesty character to this, oranges certainly but also a touch of grapefruit. Fresh and drinkable throughout. Liked it.

Can bbe 26.11.2015. Colour straw, hazy. Aroma intense citrus. Taste orange peel, passion fruit, some grainy malt notes. Not very bitter but hoppy. Soft palate. Perfect for summer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There’s nothing good I can say about this poison. Carbonated vomit is as nice as I can get.

My last can of this, as with most Beavertown it's not a beer you can hate and soon becomes a core go to beer. Crisp, dry, golden, tasty, but with a nice dry edge to it

Draft @ Beer Deluxe, Melbourne. Clear gold beer, creamy white head. Hop driven nose - pine, grass, touch of passionfruit, good hit of citrus with biscuity malts underneath. Full body, resiny, light carbonation, touch of acidity is welcomed. Good slug of toasty, biscuity malt upfront paves the way for resiny hops, pine, good whack of citrus rind - not OTT, well measured, easily overlooked as being extra "hoppy". Moderately high bitterness, very drinkable. Top notch, the combo works very well!

330 ml can. Unclear yellow body with a dense, lacing white head. Refreshing aroma of citric fruit and oranges. Flavor is nice and refreshing as well, citric fruit, mild pale malt, oranges and average bitterness for an IPA. Medium body and nice aftertaste that ends up a with a slightly zest kind of bitterness. Nice and easy.

Haze in the entry but with fresh citric notes. The zest is notable in the first taste and a lot of hops comes along. Long palate and staying around for some time. Enjoyable soft and character of orange.
