The hops/bitterness is what you first notice but then the fruit comes in and then the sweetness. Whilst i did like the beer i think it could be better, rather than the flavours working together its like they are fighting each other.

On draft, at The Local Pub in Athens. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Really strong aroma of pine and citrus. Slightly more gentle in the mouth - lots of hoppiness, and grapefruit, with a "proper" bitter aftertaste. Light enough body - and alcohol - to drink lots. Which is just as well, because youíll want to!

Bottle from Oddbins, London Bridge - fuzzy golden/orange coloured pour with a good white head. Punchy fresh fruity citrus and tropical fruits in both aroma and taste, pine, caramel, lovely mouthfeel and balance of sweet/bitterness. Beautiful.

Amazing punchy aroma - pity the palate isnít so punchy - light bodied so an easy drinker - good bitterness - hop dominant - herbal rather than fruity - good example but not worthy of my highest marks - just kinda two dimensional for me - nothing beats Feralís Hop Hog for my palate cos itís got complexity and tropical fruit power aplenty.

Odense Beer & Ball Saturday - Nigeria-Denmark World Cup 1998. Hzy golden with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit and green hops, like sniffing a bag of hop pellets, Dry and very hoppy flavour with grapefruit, pine and a touch of grass. Slightly dusty note, hopefully only because of age. Fabulous clean, hoppy pale ale
