4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 chimpgibbon (53) - edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle from the Beerhive. Wonderful APA this. Wow a real surprise. Mind you their Black Betty should have made me rate this straight away. Muddy gold pour big fluffy cream head. Then diving straight into the freshest hoppiness and cheesiness and fruitiness imaginable. Creamy and full bodied but zingy and smooth too. Just excellent.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 viktorvee (167) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2013
Quite cloudy and with some sediment. A drinkable and lovely APA. Drawn out bitterness in the aftertaste, lots of mango on the nose, a pleasant thickness in the mouth. Lemon rind, grass and coriander. Almost seems like it might be more than 5.5%. A good partner to the awesome 8 ball.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 thebeertourist (4316) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 3, 2013
Bottle from Craft Islington. Pours cloudy golden with a big head. Very refreshing citrussy hop aroma. An element of toffee sweetness well-balanced by citrussy hop bitterness. Good stuff.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 maneliquor (1705) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle from Craft Beer Co. Pours dirty orange-amber with a small, very dense and firm white creamy head. Very tropical with heavy focus on pine needles and light earthiness. There is a hint of smokiness underneath the earthiness. Very unusual APA. Heavy passion fruit and apricot hoppage with light pine and an alternative smokey note on the finish. More tropical with warmth. Weird. Pretty solid beer though. Gets better as it warms

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a hazy yellow-orange coloured beer with zesty citrus fruit flavours with tropical fruit on the smooth, creamy finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ACD (379) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 29, 2013
33cl bottle. Pours light hazy orange with thin white head - plenty of thick lacing. Aroma gives tangerine, grapefruit and citrus, with a fairly pungent yeastiness. Taste is well balanced with grapefruit, orange, citrus, and fresh herby pine needles combining well with light doughy, biscuity malt. Medium dry finish. Nice pine and grapefruit bitterness lingers. Lovely APA.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 jd543 (153) - SCOTLAND - MAY 24, 2013
Hazy honey colour, with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus hops, and some nutty, bready malt. Taste is very nice, sour and bitter, light sweet; moderate lasting bitter finish. Texture is thick, well carbonated. Really good beer.
