On tap @The Local Pub. A delicious, tasty, hoppy pale ale! Has a fruity malty piney hoppy aroma. Big pine kick in the taste , well carbonated, nice sweetish bitterness in the finish, gets better as it warms.

330ml can, pours a slightly hazy deep gold. Like their ’bloody ’ell’ big aromas fly out of the can the moment its opened. Big mango, sweet orange marmalade and grapefruit. Nowhere near as much fruit on the taste. It is really light and sweet- lemon sherbet- thin mouth feel with a lovely fresh grapefruit bitterness. Very, very gluggable. Bit too strong for session so will need to try their ’neck oil’.

Tasted during Nepenthia. 12oz can. Mildly hazy golden orange color. Thin white head. Good lace. Nice bigger peppery, kind of herbal hop -- hoppier than the Bloody ’Ell tap sample I just tried prior. Good biscuity malt. Moderate bitter, light sweet, more dry finish. Medium body. Smooth, light carbonation. Solid, satisfying balanced pale ale.

Another violent opening of the can and a lengthy wait for the beer to settle down enough to pour. Hazy amber body with a puffy white head. Aromas of golden queen peaches, locquot, some orange peel and spruce needle. Flavours tending the same with hop forward bitterness and a tangy citric bite. A good nudge this.
