My Bottom Line:
Roasted malts, currants and molasses slowly swirl within this Imperial Stout’s rough heaviness, before alcohol heat successfully cleans up part of the edges.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the darkness.
-Some hop resins appear in the second half.
-The finish is rather loose. The flavour profile needs some tightening up.
-The heavy residual sugars make this an obvious sipper, yet this is not compelling enough for me to seek it out again.

Was looking forward to this, but it took me by surprise just how good it is. Thick and rich, smooth and full, warm and long. Really good from Beavertown, easily the most impressive I’ve had of theirs. Top work fellas. 999. 1 to go. Richie, this has been a real pleasure!
